As other reviews have said this extension is now malware and hijacks your search results. I could not figure out for MONTHS which extension it was because I have so many and this extension was the LAST one I thought would be the culprit. Shame on this developer. There's a special place for you in the afterlife, don't you worry. This extension should be flagged and removed. Even if they fix it now there's no telling when they'd pull this again. You've lost the trust.

Recently got updated with borderline malware. It would reload the page after every google search and fill the page with ads and sponsored links. Some sites became unusable, as it would repeatedly refresh the page and never stop.

started hijacking my search results and replacing the actual desired searched results with sponsored pages every single time, probably paid to do it. pretty disgusting for a "4.6 out of 5" browser extension that is genuinely just adware

Why does it pop up when i open chrome!? I dont need crosspilot. If i wanted something like this i would install Opera.

Stopped working after only 2 days of use. Tried uninstalling then reinstalling. This add-on has become useless trash.

so i am using this extension for quite a time it was really easy and helpful. but in recent few days this extension is not working. i can see extension in chrome extension menu, i can edit extenstion setting for youtube download, but main problem is its not showing on youtube. i tried to reinstall all extenstion, disabled extention, reinstall flximate morethan 5 times, clear cache. i checked official addoncrop help page and tried that tips but nothing so far working for me. its stopped working randomaly. i didnt touch or update anything on that extension but its stopped working. i can see cross piolt menu on top titlebar where i can download only 360p video. but still dont know why not showing on youtube and not other option than 360p. in setting it alsowshow connected with flixmate.need help to work it properly please .

Every time you try to perform a google search, you'll see the real results for a split second, then the page refreshes and shows irrelevant shopping links instead. I had to disable my extensions one-by-one to find the culprit.

Adware

This extension is not working properly. When I try to download videos, it shows an error, and the videos do not download. I have removed and reinstalled the extension 2-3 times, but it still does not work.

This extension has recently been infected with Malware. On google search I had random sponsored results appear, disabling this extension fixed it. I had had it for years before this with no issues.

CONTAINS ADWARE. WILL OPEN AD WINDOWS RANDOMLY IN THE BACKGROUND. STEER CLEAR, AND REPORT TO GOOGLE! I REPEAT, REPORT TO GOOGLE! THIS BREAKS THEIR TERMS OF SERVICE!

youtube addon is great but crosspilot contains adware/malware

If you are getting the google sheet error, "Something went wrong. Reload." and "Unable to Load file. Load it again or send error report issue" with google sheets remove this extension. This extension plus youtube video downloader was the cause of my problem.

BE AWARE. I guess most of you did install this plugin to use extensions provided on addoncrop.com, such as Youtube Video Downloader, but they all will spy out your internet activity. Check your network log via Developer Tools -> Network and you'll find a suspicious connection by https://s3.amazonaws.com/exthub/e/2/r/JP_chrome.js and https://www.pagespeed-mod.com/v1/taas . Through these scripts Addoncrop analyzing what websites you visit. I strongly recommend you remove this spyware father.

Beware of this extension. It sends your youtube link to another server. I hoped it would download the video locally. Just use youtube-dl.

Support System is not good, No exanple/Demo is given to understand how it will work, I think no one is working on this software maintainance or feedback team. Or someone is here in your team who want to spoil the owner.

YouTube Video Downloader plugin does not work. That was the only reason I tried Crosspilot.

The extension places third party ads on all your google searches, reloading the page in the process and making loading much slower. It gets the job done but it's unfortunate they did not feel the need to at least disclose the ads.
