Prime Video Speeder: adjust playback speed [QVI]

Chrome on Win and I get a blank screen while with any speed controller extension on primevideo.com

Not working 5/4/2025. It was working a couple days ago, but suddenly, it stopped. try different browsers, but still.

doesn't seem to work on a brave browser. reloaded, reinstalled, adjusted speed multiple times and pinned it but nothing seems to work.

What a disaster... it works, but it will override the speed of every single video you watch on internet. Moreover, the config will still show it's at x1 and no matter what you do (moving the slider or clicking the reset button), rest of videos will keep playing at x1.5 and you won't be able to reproduce them at a normal speed... and no, disabling or uninstalling the extension will not solve the problem. Now I have a browser that reproduces ANY VIDEO at x1.5 speed by default and there's no way to get it back to normal behaviour. Seriously, don't try this extension.

If it works, it isn't obvious *how* to get it to do so. Written July 9th, 2022.

I have uninstalled and re-installed this extension several times, but ONLY the - hotkey for slowing down the video is working, and not the + for speeding it up. This is extremely frustrating.

It works nicely. Just that a recent update makes the increment of the change at 0.05x speed. When watching an especially boring slow-moving video, I find it a hassle to press the "+" button 60 times just to get it to go fast enough, and then "-" button another 60 times to slow it down. I wish it worked like before, with increment of 0.25x speed. Then I only need to press 12 times to make the change. Not 60 times.

I wish you could select other speeds, like .9 or .85. (.75 is too slow and makes their speech sound slurred...)

Downloaded and it works; However ... I am looking to reduce video play speed and the options on the controller for faster play are good, but for slower play it goes from 1x to .5 x ... I need to reduce to about .75 or .80 and that is not an option. Just .5x and .25 x
