Doesn't work. I'm trying to watch a movie in 1080p but at first it's always low resolution. After a while it bumps the resolution, but it doesn't seem like the extension is doing anything, it's just the website.

I don't really work, make the video load longer and afterwards the quality is still low (looks much better when watched on a TV through the app).

This extension literally just does not work. the functionality of the extension depends on the availability of content but the content says it is available in 4k. Do not hit me with that copypasta you've created. The content I am trying to watch is listed as available in 4k UHD, but even when I set the extension to 4k, the video stream on something that is supposed to be available in 4k is locked in at 720p. this extension does not work as advertised. It is not worth the added ram to download this extension that does not work.

On my chrome browser it says my current resolution is 1600 x 670 and will not change regardless if I select QHD or 4K. I have the 4k quality plan and I live in a country that supports 4k for this movie.

I had hoped for this to be successful, but unfortunately, it has yielded the opposite outcome. I remain optimistic that an upcoming update will rectify this issue.

It still doesn't work. You keep telling people you're gonna fix this as soon as possible. It's been months and nothing changed.

Not working on max.com, chrome version 118.0.5993.118 (Official Build) (64-bit).

This had zero effect on video quality, even after relaunching chrome.

Sadly, doesn't work most of the time, and it could truly alleviate the nasty problem created by hbo. since hbo max is the worst quality streaming service, those hbo amateurs can't even make good buffering or force high quality, instead like anti-consumers they are, they downgrade the streaming experience, sacrificing quality for stability, their sub is not worth a broken cent. not even prime or skyshowtime does this...

Show you what resolution is but does not work to change it.

Sadly, this extension isn't capable of enhancing the quality to FullHD or 4K, even when the content itself is available in that resolution. Max Originals like Peacemaker and Harley Quinn are available in 4K on HBO Max, but the extension can only show them to you in 720p at best. You can DECREASE quality to Low and Standard Resolutions, but you can't increase it to FullHD, QHD and 4K.

Caps out at 540p but you can lower it... If you want worse quality that is.

Hi. Changing display resolution works fine for me. But if using this addon, somehow it changes 5.1 sound to just 2.0. Is it possible to fix this? Using this addon on MS Edge. Thanks EDIT: It does something with sound settings. As soon I use the addon, I lose 5.1.

Seems to only work half the time. Sometimes will work but the second you pause or use the skip button it will crash the quality down and not bump it back up.

Seems to work but there are issues with the new MAX update. image is moved down cutting off screen and adding huge black bar on top.. needs to be updated to be compatible with new MAX app.

When will the new update come? After HBOMax changed to Max, it doesn't work anymore.

can't really tell if it works or if what i'm watching is only available in 720p. would you please add a setting to always select the highest quality automatically?

Its not changing quality in chrome max its going to 1280*720p not more than that.
