This "whatever-you-call-it" caused me all kinds of problems. It literally attached itself to my keyboard control and caused the cursor to jump out of text boxes and begin typing and rewriting text on webpages. Perhaps if I was a mischeivious hacker this would be fine, but I am not. I'm trying to get homework done for school and build out a website. This tool doesn;t speel check anything it simply allows the cursor to jump into read only spaces and rewites other people's web pages. I cannot recommend this in any way.

Needs the option to select language. "Personalised" is not spelt wrongly for the UK !

It does not work - nothing happens when enabling spell check on basic web pages with obvious spelling errors.

While the concept is brilliant it just doesnt work, nothing happens. I've deliberately put spelling mistakes on a page to test it but unfortunately, nothin.

Only checks mainpage when the page is reloaded. You cannot open sections that are nested and spell check them. You should be able to open all section, then click a spell check button but you can't.

it worked for me after some playing around, however i get a weird issue where it automatically adds cursor: text; CSS to all my icons, buttons and links. Overriding the usual cursor: pointer; This is happening whenever the extension is activated, even if its not spell checking the website. I have to keep it turned off and remember to turn it on when i need it

I think the extension misrepresents itself a bit. The advertised spelling functionality is actually nothing more than switching documents contentEditable flag on and off, extension itself is not involved in spelling in any way or form. Sadly it means, that the approach is what it is and there is very little room for future improvement.

It is almost exactly what I am looking for. The only flaw is that it sometimes underlines words that are correctly spelled.
