Description

Standing Break is a simple, lightweight Chrome extension that reminds you to stand up, stretch, or move during long periods at your desk. Sitting for extended stretches can impact both your health and your focus. Standing Break helps by sending gentle reminders at intervals you choose, encouraging small movement breaks without interrupting your workflow. Set your preferred standing or stretch interval in the extension popup, start the timer, and continue working as normal. When it’s time to move, you’ll receive a friendly Chrome notification and a visual indicator via the extension icon. Now you can also track your progress. Standing Break keeps local stats such as how many breaks you’ve taken over the past week and your current standing break streak, helping you build consistent movement habits instead of forgetting after a few busy days. Your settings and stats are saved locally, so everything is remembered even if you restart your browser. Features: • Customizable standing or stretch intervals • Chrome notifications for reminders ⏰ • Visual indicator in the extension icon • Weekly break tracking and streaks 📊 • Lightweight, fast, and easy to use • No account required • All data stored locally on your device 🔒 Standing Break is designed for people who spend long hours at a computer, including developers, students, writers, and knowledge workers. This extension does not collect, track, or transmit personal data. It runs entirely on your device.
