"JSON Editor" is no longer supported. After December 2022, the old version Chrome app will no longer be available on Windows devices. You can check if there is a new version available.

Long numbers are not formatted correctly.

Was using it for years. But now... New version required access to all the data on all visited websites.... Really? To edit JSON? Removed from my apps.

You need to explain why your app now requires permission to read and modify data on all visited websites. Removing app until then.

Just a bookmark...

Just a redirect to the same web site I was using - no Chrome integration and advertising! If I go to the site I get no adds! This is not an app.

Just an icon linked to a website. No use at all. :(

Just installed a shortcut to their webapp. Completely useless.

Does not work! Page only loads the advertising field. the Actual input fields for the json and the results are no where to be seen. And now I can't find where to delete the stupid thing.

Nice layout, but for some reason I can't save my JSON to disk? :( Nothing happens when I hit the button. This renders it useless to me.

I started noticing serious delays in anything in Chrome the required input. Gmail for istance; I could sometimes type several words, waiting for chrome to catch up. This problem didn't exist on any other similar machine. so I started disabling extensions. When this JSON editor was disabled, the problem went away.

need support for defining Json this way (way many tools export it) { id:"test"} vs it only support today {"id":"test"}

I was really finding this app useful for editing a local JSON file. Helpful error messages and nice formatting. Then I went to save the file. Really? No filename or path choices? Only Downloads/document.json? Makes it largely unusable for any sustained coding effort.

Permission to read data on all my websites? Not going to allow I'm afraid.

why you need access to the data of all my websites in the updated app??

Just another bookmark? I would at least want to configure it so to use the offline page, if it's offlinable at all.

open file does not do anything.open url causes error, although the url is fine. did not get it working.

Good app. Would give 5* but I knock off a * for it not being an app but just a link to the website. If I wanted that I would use a bookmark. I knock off another * for the confusing DOM editor, but if you are just entering text it is perfect.

It's not offline!!
