Until we say no to excessive permissions, they will keep doing this cr@p. * See your Google Drive Files * Download your Files and my favorite... * SEE THE NAMES AND EMAILS OF PEOPLE YOU SHARE FILES WITH And not just files you've used the app to open, but ALL of them.
Requires an adblocker to be disabled even after is has been marked as whitelisted/uninstalled.
doesn't work
stopped my system from playing anything. I do not know how to remove it.
Still requires downLoad before playing...won't play direct from link.
Cannot play amr files at all. Decoding failed?
files bigger than 10 mb is not working
this sucks
Negates to tell users before choosing it that it only will play very small files, nothing over 10MB and most music, phone calls are well over 10MB. Otherwise if you have small kb files you shouldn't have any problems. It's not user friendly at all. If you're not able to navigate through with your own knowledge, then do not even attempt to use it for small files, it's useless!
Although I did disable all the addblockers, the app still say "Please disable adblock for free use". Maybe it cannot detect corectly the blocker. Uninstalling all the plugins in chrome and firefox doesn`t help, I still cannot use the app in it`s own TOS...
Advertises "and you can convert AMR with WAV format" but shows no indication of how to do so. Plays the audio in the browser ok.
unable to decode file.
not play and play....maybe it works? didn't for me, but hey, I'm just an average guy. Not a geek or techie. just a guy that wastes his time downloading and deleting.
THE GOOD: The file size limit IS visible in the screen shot preview! AND it's actually gone up-it's now 15 MB (as shown in the app; the preview photo still shows 10MB). THE BAD: I think it demands excessive permissions: "See and download ALL your Google Drive files". This seems NOT necessary: It could work fine with more limited permissions, like "Cloud Audio Recorder" which only: Has access to: "View and manage Google Drive files and folders that you have opened or created with this app" (but that app won't PLAY audio. Update: I found an app that fits my needs. Hesitant to name it - not sure that's allowed, but I'm happy - limited permissions, and works for me, though others are complaining about ad problems.) HOWEVER: On the other hand, the file size limit IS visible in the screen shot preview! AND it's actually gone up-it's now 15 MB (as shown in the app; the preview photo still shows 10MB).
