Sigh. This non-extension doesn't work. Why in the world does wordpress not tweak their own code to make it work with the most popular browser by default?
It's a link. This is the last straw with wordpress. Going back to squarespace where everything works, every time.
This only functions as a link to wordpress.com
This is literally a link. I am not sure why this is even an app.
just a link to a website, no app
doesnt work
Not a true app
Is it just me or does Wordpress.com just not work in ChromeOS. I can't see statistics nor does the Reader render any items.
This is just a hack so that wordpress.com can read everything I do. I was hoping for a blog post editor.
In addition to Mr Ulster's point, I also couldn't get the link/app to load at all.
THis is useless. Does nothing more than opening wordpress.com in browser. An app has to be an app.
It's just a glorified bookmark. It does not address the wordpress stats page issues on chrome at all!
Wanted PC/Mac functionality. Only got website
just a link!? Can't even log into it! Please fix it.. :(
Just a link. What's the point??
This is completely worthless. A glorified bookmark to the WordPress website. I reinstalled it just so I could tell you how pointless it is. You're welcome. Uninstalling again...
Just a link, no offline support, no plugin support. WTF
just a link!!!!
Why should I allow the Wordpress "app" to read all that I can copy and paste in Google Chrome? That too just for a link? Expected more from a big web organization like Wordpress. Disappointed.
It seems it's just a link to the website and I'm not sure the human race is THAT lazy yet. 0 stars....
Couldn't agree more, this app is garbage! Ever single page you click on opens in another browser window. If it merely let you edit in the same window it would get a few more stars, but it's completely useless right now. It isn't a true, full-functioning app and should be removed from the Web Store.
Appears to be nothing more than a link to Wordpress. Why is this considered an app?
..just opens the website...
"This app is currently unreachable." Waste of my time.
it sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't even log in using the so called app! But when I log in on my blog page adding "/wp-login.php", I have no problem. Fix this please.
I guess what I need to add from the Chrome store is something more dedicated, no matter partial native or a shortcut to somewhere like an app. When you links to your own home page without any changes, a bookmark definitely did its job and I prefer that instead. I say !@#$ internet marketing, this should not be some kind of gimmick and just claims it for no efforts.
It's only a link, no app. How do I deinstall that crap? I hae a bookmark, that's more than enough..
Not happy that the application forces your location to be disclosed. You can see this by going to Chrome's Settings: Settings --> Privacy --> Content Settings --> Location --> Manage Exceptions A hover over the Wordpress entry shows that the exception is being granted by the application. True that we are agreeing to the application's permissions when installing, but why can't we choose to turn it off?
constantly recieving the message that the app is currently unavaailable.
I'm confused; the "app" appears to be merely a link to the Wordpress home page. Am I missing something?
Mine lasted all of 10 minutes. It's a fine app if you want someone else to do the legwork, but if you want to personalize anything - even the color of your fonts, it's gonna cost you.
Why this is not worth it it seems to be link using the API which is the same as the site???
It's just a link ...
