Description

On The Go Map is created by athletes for athletes to make it as easy as possible to plan and share workout routes. Map a route in no time, then create a permalink to send to friends, embed in a blog or website, export as GPX, or send to your phone to follow along by GPS. Stores routes in Google Drive so changes are instantly synced between devices. Share routes with other Google Drive users to collaboratively edit in real-time. Displays distance, elevation gain and profiles so you'll know exactly what you're in for before you head out. Works great on small screens so you can view and edit routes on smartphones and tablets. Author's note: Whenever I'm running or biking someplace new, I use On The Go Map to map my run or ride then create a permalink and send to my phone. While I'm out, I can pop open the link to see my location plotted on top of the route.

This use to be a great application but the latest upgrade removed all my stored maps. I cannot find them and no one has responded to my email. Such a disappointment. It was fantastic now it is frustrating.

It finds the best route and I want just to use it to find running routes. It sticks to roads and previous points without asking.

I made a complicated running map to calculate the distance of one of my running routes. I want to copy that map to another file and make some modifications to calculate the distance of a different running route. Guess what.? Not possible to copy files. Crippling lack of functionality. This app gets one star!!

It's useless for me. Can not open .kmz from my google drive which was exported from "My Tracks".

Why offer a Bike feature without the knowledge of bike path? Cities outside of US DO HAVE BIKE PATH :-)

Road routes only? tried across country routes but won't work? anyone know if it does cross country??

Not bad, but I don't see the option to add to or change a route easily, without creating an entirely new route. Also need to be able to turn off the auto save. I also agree with others, that there needs to be an Android app that syncs with this.
