Canvas+

doesnt work

Unfortunately does not work for me. I am trying to use it but it says "no access needed" and won't change anything on the site.

Is not working. Don't know how to fix. Says "can't read or change site's data" which I'm assuming is not supposed to be the case because it's meant to change the site's data. How can I fix?

Completely killed my battery life. I have the brand new Macbook Air M2 chip and It ran just fine until I downloaded this extension. My battery life went from about 11-12 hours to not even 3 hours where all I am doing is typing in a google doc. I know its this extension because I told my computer to kill the Crome tab that had the most energy impact, and every time it was Canvis. This was not an issue for anyone else in my class. For reference a normal tab's energy impact is between 0- 12 and the canvas tab with this extension is 400. I tried removing the tab and it was still drawing this amount of power. I have tried everything it has messed up my google account.

With the extension, Canvas would overheat my M1 Mac and severely decrease its battery life. After disabling the extension, the battery life of my mac returned to normal and wasn't nearly as hot. Love the features, but severely limits my mac.

Does not work because of URL permissions in the manifest. My school has "canvas.(ourschool).edu" and because that does not match "instructure" then it does not launch!

I really want to use this but my canvas page is not *://*.instructure.com

Doesn't work if your school's Canvas page doesn't have the word infrastructure in it's url. No way to add your school's own url to get it to work if it doesn't have the term infrastructure in it unfortunetly. Not sure if/when an update bringing this extensions to other schools will come.
