Wow, this app needs work.

Hopeless Extension ever, doesnt capture audio properly , i am using Turboscribe : https://turboscribe.ai/ helps you to summarise using AI, and is so good.

does not have save option.

Doesn't capture all of the information, and stops in the middle of recording. Tried starting over, but it would not record anything...

Doesn't allow me to record any voice.

it spells out 'full stop', 'comma' etc. Not fit fur purpose.

I'm writing this in 2023 and from reading the older reviews it seems that it used to add punctuation for example if said "period" it looks like, in the past it would actually place period at the end of a sentence .. now it doesn't do that or add paragraphs. The output is just a long string of words with no punctuation which makes the tool completely useless. Good try Google, but no awards for this newer iteration ... If I were Google I'd pull it off and not make it available again until it works. This is an embarrassment, and not good for your (Googles) image. `

Used to be great, now not so much. I've used this plugin with great success for almost a year but recently it started ignoring punctuation like "period" and "comma". This makes the plugin useless for me now. I submitted a bug report but that has been ignored.

Inaccurate, clunky, and doesn't detect punctuation. Steaming hot pile of garbage.

Extreme low end accuracy. Punctuations are a mess. This save me negative time as I have to go back and fix the entire block of text.

I couldn't make it work at all. I speak fairly standard UK English but it seems to not understand anything. It would be a huge time waster. I would spend more time correcting what it misheard, than it would have taken me to just type it in the first place.

I would give it a zero if I could. what a waste of time

Absolutely Pathetic. Cannot fathom any sentence I'm saying. Not the option to edit the text either. Worst experience

It was okay but it couldn't write periods, commas, and it wouldnt let me delete things either and delayed its self. It also misheard me ALOT and didn't know how to captalize sentences. I need a speech to text for my things on my computer not for its own program.

After installing this extension it's showing. Although I've allowed permission. >> Permission to use the microphone is blocked! >> Please reload the app and try again. Also, this extension has bugs like I want to remove text from the box. But it is not removing.

For what it's worth, it does work, but it lacks punctuation and you cannot dictate directly into any text fields on a web page. It's all done in a pop up window, then you ahve to copy and paste anything over.

Keeps timing out and turning itself off. That's very inconvenient.

I give it 2 stars for working at all, after those who say it doesn't work. HOWEVER, why doesn't iot know things like, "new line", "paragraph", "period", "comma", or any other punctuation? That's kind of important, isn't it? Even my phones 'Messaging" app knows to automatically punctuate. It does it wrong half the time, but at least it's trying. This app tries nothing at all. Example using my first sentence above: I give it two stars for working at all comma after those who say it doesn't work period

It Works, but sadly, it appears this cannot speech to text into any field in chrome. It opens its own floating text window, which you need to copy paste the results, into other windows. Which basically defeats the purpose of using this in a web Browser. Example wanting to use this in ChatGPT. And this extension appears to simply not be designed to accomplish this..

I used to love this and it worked perfectly.. Now it put the word instead of punctuation (periods, commas,etc) I'm sooo frustrated! Change it back!

Didn't understand half of the words I said, extremely infuriating having to repeat the same sentence 20+ more times before it finally understands.

Unfortunately it doesn't work on this page or others such as Quora. However it does work and its own text box. 12-23-2025 still does not work, though installed, with permissions. "Flow" works well in any text box I tried but slowed down one browser.

Sometimes it just forgets to transcribe for like 20-30 seconds.

Picks up my voice reasonably well but the lack of punctuation makes it useless.

It worked great until recently period it used to change punctuation prompts to actual punctuations symbols comma but now as you can see here comma it not adds those prompts as actual words period so it makes it awfully difficult to dictate without having to go back and doing some strenuous editing comma which defeats the entire purpose period

Can only type in its own window and doesn't support Arabic language.

This extension helped me complete some long form writing assignments in a timely manner. However, it did cause MAJOR levels of frustration by deleting the existing text if I clicked on the microphone symbol to start listening again. More than a dozen times I lost large portions of writing as I was deep in thought, would place the cursor where I wanted to add a line or two only to have the whole thing wiped out because I forgot about this drawback. PLEASE FIX THIS.

It doesn't have perfect voice recognition as some people claim. In addition, it stops voice recognition after about three to four minutes.

It doesn't recognize the back-and-forth nature of dialogue. It just transcribes one long stream of words instead of detecting breaks in speech and dropping down to the next line accordingly.

I liked it because it understood most of the things I was trying to say HOWEVER I hated that when I pressed the microphone to add more of what I was saying It ERASED EVERYTHING and now I have no way of getting it back. This made me furious so maybe you should add a history revise or something like that so someone can restore their work or maybe a feature WHERE IT DOESN'T DO THAT. Thank you for your time

This plugin is better than voice in voice typing plugin. Although, this plugin need some improvement. I noticed the following issues in this plugin: 1- when I move cursor somewhere between the text and try to to type at that place, the text appears at the end of text instead of at the cursor . 2- There is no drag and drop drag and drop functionality in the speech to text window. moreover, when clicking and selecting the text the whole words is not selected. 3- upon repeating the voice it should correct the text.
