it couldnt beat a level 25 3200 elo bot on chess.com

The extension just does not work at all, i purchased a digital chess book and wanted to quickly analyze the positions so i downloaded this extension, and when i click "scan" it shows the position, but does not allow me to view the evaluation at all, nor view any moves

not able to use on chess.com. The site (chess.com) blocks this extension

www.chess.com is now blocking this extension, even for unrated games which is moronic. If chess.com is reading this, guess what - people are still cheating on your site, they are just using other methods. The purpose of this extension is to help junior players see what move would work best in a situation, and if the opponent is cheating. No one who wants to improve will use a program/cheat like this for the entire game, that is stupid. But for those of us trying to improve, this is an invaluable learning tool, and we don't care who wins - these are unrated games. chessvision.ai needs to update the extension and circumvent chess.com's moronic blocking of it.

turned my youtube spanish and was locked in spanish until i removed this from chrome

absolute garbage extension. The servers are most of the time down. It will not help you other that lichess. clearly is affiliated with them. Would not recommend. There are many better options to choose from.

Not sure why it is absolutely essential to keep loading the engine for eternity. Update: The extension DOESN'T WORK AT ALL.

at some point the AI just fails to find any winning moves n jus does everyth in its power to lose. u can see the eval going lower and lower in favour of the bot losing

used to be perfect. now you have to go to the analysis page of chess.com before you can snapshot and analyse, even when the game has literally already ended OR you're spectating a match and want to see the reasoning for the evaluation bar that's literally already there. all because for some reason they're scared of cheaters. how silly and timewasting

Slow chessboard recognition, the chess engine takes a long time to initialize and sometimes freezes. It has been years since they said they would improve it, but nothing has been done. A terrible app, it should allow the chessboard to be recognized locally because sometimes the network service doesn't work properly, like now. stay away

Sucks since latest update which asks for sign in. 10/11 times its not working when I click on it. Have to reinstall the extension. Is a virus.

It started awesome and now everything is limited you can't use NNUE it's just terrible.

When I change from "Black to play" to "White", the extension gets error and say "This content is blocked. Contact the site owner to fix the issue."

OK for a computer generated graphic but not for photos of chess boards

Very buggy, window is hard to manage, resize and organise. VERY High potential for abuse and cheating over fair use, and this issue is not addressed anywhere in the documentation. The engine can take some time to get started after each activation or move. Scrolling down into menus sometimes leaves you stuck down there, unable to scroll back up and having to restart the extension.

Since the latest update, after pressing scan the popup closes and it wont open again unless you refresh the page. How to fix?

Using on youtube videos is hard many of the times it dont scant properly

Although it gets the computer vision part right, the extension itself is not well built. It was almost impossible to scan a specific chess board out of the many that were displayed on a certain Wikipedia page. Additionally, it would be very useful to provide this service on a web page rather than a browser extension, since extensions are a major security risk and a lot of people are on mobile.

It works best on Firefox, Safari, and Chrome. I give it a three because none of the extensions allow me to expand the view. The +/- make the board bigger. I need to drag the extension down to make it longer. Hopefully, newer updates will allow this.

Used to work just fine. Now blocks out PDF files from being scanned which was my primary use for the extension so I could quickly load puzzles for my students on a virtual board.

I liked this app it helps me learn but can you please make this app automated/go itself so I don't have to drag the pieces on the extension? Could me make there options to change the board to dark wood like chess.com plz.Last request is could you change the name to something else because I can't use it at school because of the name/could you make it work on school internet?

There is no way to configure the memory usage level. There is a banner in a white stripe at the bottom that does not allow accessing all the features of the configuration menu.

Stopped working on pdfs, jpgs and pngs. It just won't open. Only works on webpages. I have installed Firefox to check if it would work there, but no. It was probably done intentionally to force you into buying the Chessvision.ai Book Reader, unfortunately.

Pretty good, only problem with it is that it scans way too slow, pretty decent though.

If you just had the possibility to adjust the UI size...some buttons are not visible because of the banner!

ItHas problem with its bishop it works as a pon so please fix it
