Has every little option that you would never want to configure, but doesn't have the option to let you scroll without holding command. Scrolling should be default, and then hold command button for the navigation. The smooth navigation feature is useless for anyone that enables three finger click-to-drag.
It does not work for me! When i try to move on the map with 2 fingers, it zooms!
Doesn't work for me.
doesnt work at all. running yosemite os on google chrome.
Works with embedded maps, but not with the new Google Maps that was rolled out recently. Needs an update.
It keeps crashing without showing any warning or popup.
With this enabled, PDFs cannot be opened within Chrome
This is a great idea, and the map scrolling worked great for me. However, when this extension was enabled, I became unable to open PDFs on chrome. I don't really see the connection, but I troubleshooted and I'm pretty sure its this extension that's causing the problem. Fix needed!
I used to love it, but lately the zoom feature hasn't worked properly. Needs an urgent fix!
Good attempt, but zooming does not work.
Yes, it allowed me to move the map about but totally removed the ability to zoom in n out using two finger gestures so sends me back to square1.
Works great with apple trackpad, but makes mouse wheel unusable for zoom. Would be nice to separate settings for trackpad and mouse.
Unfortunately this now breaks the new pinch to zoom behavior of Google Maps, so I'm not sure it's worth it. Hopefully Google will simply support this "scroll to drag" too, autonomously.
Yes, it activates the 2 finger scrolling as it should be with Mac trackpads, but it breaks the pinch to zoom. Now I don't know which I want more...
It does what it says, but is too aggressive in its application, attempting to inject js on each and every page, most often failing and throwing errors in the console. A more targeted extension would be welcomed.
It takes up to a minute to actually start working after a Maps tab have been opened/reloaded. Double tap to zoom-in and two finger tap (three finger tap on trackpad) to zoom-out would be nice. new Google Maps ScrollMaps 1.7 Chrome 40.0.2214.94 (64-bit) OS X 10.10.2 (14C109)
Works great to make scrolling work, but attempts to zoom using only the trackpad are met with sadness (and scrolling north/south instead of zooming).
Good but always triggers a jquery error in my console.
Well, the app does what it says, but now I can't zoom in or out using two fingers on the touchpad anymore. Double-click works for zooming in though, but zooming out seems not possible. I'm running Windows 8.1 on a HP Envy TouchSmart notebook.
A great idea, but for two things: 1. I'd love to be able to scroll with one finger but zoom with two. It would mean not having to use my other hand to hold down a modifier key. 2. On some embedded maps, activating ScrollMaps seems to cause places of interest not to draw/appear. For instance, on the Parkopedia website, when ScrollMaps is engaged, none of the car parks seem to show. Luckily there's an option to disable the ScrollMaps extension for embedded maps. Other than that, great! :-)
Horizontal scrolling does not work. Very good otherwise.
