Description

--------------------------------OpenClaw Browser Relay for Windows V 2.1.2------------------------------ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Plugin Introduction - The [OpenClaw Browser Relay] plugin connects OpenClaw to your currently open Chrome tab, allowing OpenClaw to operate your browser like a human. - Due to the various deployment methods for OpenClaw (macOS/Windows/Windows+WSL), many [OpenClaw Browser Relay] plugins on the market suffer from compatibility issues. - This "OpenClaw Browser Relay for Windows" is designed specifically for native Windows (i.e., not a Windows deployment using WSL, but based on Windows' own PowerShell deployment), offering excellent compatibility and a richer, more powerful browser interface than those deployed using Windows+WSL. - By providing a local relay path, it secures the actual browser session, thus resolving common stability issues in browser control based on Windows + WSL/sandbox. Key benefits: • Native Windows route: PowerShell + local Gateway + local Relay • No WSL dependency • Real browser session attach/detach • Local communication (127.0.0.1) with gateway token control for safer operations Scope: - This extension is for native Windows OpenClaw launched from PowerShell. - It is not for WSL deployments. WSL users should use the WSL build. Key features: - One-click attach/detach on the active tab - Local CDP relay bridge for browser automation - Local settings for relay port and gateway token - Auto reconnect and session recovery for stability - Interactive feedback card: copy diagnostics and open email feedback Port guidance: - Common default relay port: `18792` - If gateway port is customized, relay is typically `gateway + 3` - Example: `gateway 19001 -> relay 19004` Token guidance (PowerShell): - Safe/redacted output: `./openclaw-win.ps1 config get gateway.auth --json` - Plain token (copy with care): `(Get-Content -Raw ./open-claw/openclaw.json | ConvertFrom-Json).gateway.auth.token` How it works: 1. Start OpenClaw Gateway / Browser Relay on Windows. 2. Open extension options and set relay port and gateway token. 3. Click the extension icon on a tab. `ON` badge means attached. ——————————————————————————————————————————————— *OpenClaw Browser Relay for Windows User Guide* If you have already installed OpenClaw Browser Relay for Windows, it allows the OpenClaw bot/agent to more naturally connect to your currently open browser page. Tested and working on the following websites: http://calendar.google.com http://outlook.live.com/calendar/0/view/week How to use it: After opening the corresponding calendar page, you can directly ask the OpenClaw bot/agent questions. Example operations: You can ask the OpenClaw bot/agent: What are today's and this week's schedules? You can ask the OpenClaw bot/agent: Add or delete schedules. Why is this more convenient? For people who frequently check their calendars and let AI assist with scheduling, this method is much more natural than repeatedly copying and pasting. ——————————————————————————————————————————————— Permissions explained: - `debugger`/`tabs`/`activeTab`: attach to tabs and forward CDP commands. - `storage`: store local config (relay port and token). - `webNavigation`/`alarms`: reconnect and status refresh. - `host_permissions (127.0.0.1/localhost)`: connect only to local relay service. Data and privacy: - No ads, trackers, or third-party analytics SDK. - Communicates only with local `127.0.0.1` / `localhost` relay endpoints. - The extension itself does not upload data to developer-owned remote servers. Token 说明(PowerShell): - 安全查看(脱敏):`./openclaw-win.ps1 config get gateway.auth --json` - 明文查看(谨慎):`(Get-Content -Raw ./open-claw/openclaw.json | ConvertFrom-Json).gateway.auth.token` 使用方式: 1. 在 Windows 启动 OpenClaw Gateway / Browser Relay。 2.
