scroll bar disappeared from youtube and few other websites.

I found out it was screwing up various website functions, including Bank of America money transfers and registering for my health insurance plan. I think it was interfering with java scripting. Use at your own risk.

This affects things such as audible audiobook previews, which stop after a second, until I disable this extension.

This extension caused screen shakes and stopped me logging into my internet banking. When I switched off the extension i notice that google became much quicker. I had got used to the slow speed.

Causes "Aw, snap" error while using Google Drive. The error stopped as soon as I disabled this extension.

Doesn't work on YouTube. Please, fix it.

AWESOME extension! Works perfectly, and offers LOTS of fun options. 👍🏼 EDIT - Spoke too soon. Blacklisting doesn't work. Had to uninstall.

All I want is to have consistent, standard size scrollbars that look as much like the OS default as possible, but that seems impossible. I tried this extension to counter those idiot web developers (or idiot managers of developers) that customize scroll bars, making them 2 pixels wide, impossible to see and use on a 24 inch, 1920x1080 display. However, the button feature on this extension doesn't work, and that is a deal-breaker. After you choose all of the up/down/left/right images, they are all screwed up; up displays as left, etc. Attempting to change the incorrect image messes with the other three.

Uncentered scrollbar buttons... & transparency would be a plus, even with thicker scrollbars.

The customization it offers is outstanding but what good is this if it doesn't reliably work on 60% of the websites I visit? Half of the time the scrollbars are not skinned and I have to force refresh using Ctrl+F5 to skin them (I am on Chrome 52 beta).

It works well but causes conflicts with many secure sites. I can no longer log into banking and other sites. Reading the other comments, I see that it's a common problem. Hope it's not a security issue. Is the app grabbing my personal data? Maybe that's why banks are blocking it. I've disabled and deleted it.

It causes checkboxes not to save on some webpages. When the extension is enabled, checkboxes don't save, when disabled, checkboxes save again.

This app will cause problems with your banking websites as well as your mobile phone websites. Unable to log on or perform actions within the site if you are able to log on. Love the extension, hate the inability to use major websites.

Unable to use online banking and other apps that require specific logins. Had to go back to windows 7 IE explorer to get work done. Whats up with google. Chrome just lost a user. Anybody know how to remove "Rescroller"

The new scrollbar works when I'm on the settings page but not on any other pages. Will change rating when fixed

I would like to have an option to import my own scrollbar so I don't have to set it up everytime I install the extension.

Finally a solution that seems to work as described.. But.. Why no white-list? It only has black-list functionality.. My use-case requires white-list functionality, so unfortunately, I can't use it for anything.. The unbelievably long search continues...

although i heard and read good things about this extension, there no reason to bother using it as it was last updated 4 years ago, August 7, 2016....strange that the developer totally abandoned an app/extension with over 40,000 downloads...

This works great. Keeps the stroller close and bright for use. Just saw that the developer has not updated in almost 4 years. Too bad. Would it take him that much time to update! He has almost 40,000 people enjoying his craft. So I'm taking 2 stars off. He doesn't care anyhow! Heh Google Chrome folks does this makes the extension vulnerable? Maybe someone can take it over and monetize it.

It doesn't work with the amazon turk website when I look at the actual survey page. It deletes the scrollbar and I need to see it and use it. I tried to add the website address to the Blacklist but that didn't work.

Nice program. In the past 1-2 weeks I had to keep the program options open in Opera for it to work, but that is not the case NOW..?

Doesn't work on Youtube.com when the Magic Actions for Youtube extension is enabled. The scrollbar goes back to skinny awfulness. If you could get it to work with the Magic Actions for Youtube Extension that would be great.

Spazzes a bit when reloading pages.

I have used this extension for a couple years now. I started using it because Google Chrome used to have terrible scroll bars that were difficult to see. (That may still be the case. I haven't checked). Unfortunately, as others have noticed, this extension can cause issues when logging into certain secure websites. I'm not sure if the developers have tried to fix this or not but it has been a problem since I started using the extenion and it continues to be a problem even now. In fact, I've noticed about 10-15 sites where this extension causes issues, effectively making the sites unusable. These are mostly banks and other financial sites, but I've also had problems on other types of websites, including my employer's human resources webpage. One way to get around this is to simply disable the Rescroller extension on specific sites using another extension called "Extension Automation". That works pretty, well but it is still annoying to have to do. Perhaps it is not possible to fix this problem because of something about how Rescroller is implemented, but at the very least the developers should *WARN* users about it. I've lost many hours over the past two years emailing banks and other sites to tell them their websites didn't work with Chrome, only to find out after lengthy troubleshooting that it was really *Rescroller* that was at fault. This recently happened again with my employer's website, prompting this Review. To the developers: Please Please Please find a way to make it MORE OBVIOUS to users that Rescroller can AND DOES interfere with login to many sites and can also cause strange effects (such as making page content appear incorrectly, or an an incorrect location, or not at all, or any of a number of odd issues). ALSO, please make a *one-click* method to DISABLE Rescroller for specific hosts. Thanks!

Everything was good but it causes some sites to not be able to login.

It makes webpages shake after load, it's annoying. Great idea, poor implementation =(

I did notice some abnormal page vibration when any webpage loads. when this is fix i will return and give a higher rating... thanks so much.. since the latest update of chrome all scroll bars where delete as default . glad i found this so i can at least scroll..

Works pretty well most of the time. Would be nice if there was an option to reset the images for the arrows to default. Sometimes it doesn't show any scroll bar, just text in it's place. that's a bit annoying, hopefully will get fixed in a later release.
