H.265 / HEVC player

Non-functional on my Chromebook unit.

Does not work at all. crashed each time when I tried to open h265 mkv file.

Garbage, doesn't work in the slightest, this isn't a plugin, this is a standalone app. False advertising.

WOW! False expectations, eh? Apparently, my Ryzen 7 1700x, RTX 2060, 32GB of RAM and my M.2 SSD aren't able to decode the H.265 video that I edited/created on my computer (which runs back in full speed). This needs some work.

Does not work as a plug-in to play embedded video. You have to open the video by spawning a standalone player. That's not a plug-in. A plug-in would play the video right there in your browser, just like YouTube videos. Guess what? Normal players will play this, so it's completely useless and unnecessary. Uninstalling immediately.

All players (PotPlayer, VLC, MPC-HC, etc.) installed on my computer (Intel Core i7-3770K) run X265 at about 6% processing. Already this player consumes about 50% of processing and still hangs in some movies.

running on acer chromebook. native video player works, VLC plays fine, this app says "your computer is too slow and playback may suffer." Dont waste your time kids

Not that great. Able to play, however, not a suitable app to work consistently with the Chromebook.

Video plays but is very choppy and distorted on my Chromebook.

Useless, this app cannot SEE a .mp4 file on my Chromebook, let alone play it. (Note .mp4 uses H.265 audio). Running this on a Chromebook. Useless App <Delete App>

i7 4790k, gtx 970, 16gb ram, good ssd and you're telling me that my pc is too slow to convert it in real time, its not the hardware but software

This app used to work perfectly now it does absolutely nothing.

Plays first second of the video then says shat my computer is too slow. But other video players play videos without slowdowns.

My Chromebook will load everything perfectly fine, and any video that has the H.265 codec will play on any other video player, but this one simply says my Chromebook isn't able to. It's not the Chromebook that can't use G.265; this player simply can't do it on a Chromebook. Going back to my other video players. This one didn't even tackle the problem I originally had anyway.

Doesn't work. Won't open any type of file that is HEVC/h.265 encoded. Tried mkv, m4v, mp4,.. nothing. Just sits there.... laughing at me. Pointless.

Have tried several MKV and AVI files. It won't open any of them. I have been looking for an alternative to Videostream to use with my Chromecast for some time. Why do I have to convert every video file to a substandard mp4 format in order to cast it effectively? Because Google, that's why.

Used to work great, tried recently and now just does nothing when I open any movie file, including files it used to play. Is currently completely functionless, have tried uninstalling reinstalling, same behaviour.
