Doesn't work as a widget on OBS, please make a better tutorial and stop making it look good, if you can't even make it work.

everytime i type in a live chat my entire youtube crashes and i have to reload it. After trial and error ive narrowed it down to Truffle being the cause.

Not working? I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong but nothing is happening, at all. I click on the extension to see the settings, but nope there is nothing at all it just give you the default extension popup.

Truffle used to be a good extension. While I don't believe there's malicious intent behind this extension, the permissions this extension now needs is beyond what an extension like this needs to function. There's a whole bunch of unnecessary clutter that gets added to the sites this extension is for which is YouTube and Twitch. Intrusive and unreliable.

The custom theatre mode for Youtube live streams is great, but the floating channel button is really annoying and cannot be disabled, the "channel is live!" popup that autoplays when watching videos is both annoying and shadily pumps viewer counts, and now they added a really invasive sidebar on Youtube that requires making an account to disable.

Breaks Twitch for me, gives me "Error loading data" on the following page.

It started out good but they've been expanding it to use more permissions and put more ads and garbage on websites. Give me the option to see the junk don't force it down my throat via automatic updates.

Good Idea but it straight up does not work even after I tried reinstalling.

Love the features on the extension but the unnecessary permissions expansion and performance issues are too much to deal with. Lately this extension has an extremely noticible impact on my web browser's page loading times in a way no other extensions do. My PC is very high end with a latest gen ryzen and this extension still adds a full 1-2 second to pages loading on twitch and youtube. This happens on pages where the extension shouldn't be doing anything resource intensive.

This was a great extension for YouTube streams at first, but the recent overreach of permissions and meddling with things like the new tab screen and adding random YT people to your Twitch live following list are completely unneeded and intrusive. There is no reason I would ever want this to be doing anything outside of a YouTube live stream; please put these awful features in a separate extension or allow us a 'lite' model or something.

DONT TRUST IT JUST BECAUSE ITS CREATOR BACKED!! I had it installed for months and it only needed access to YouTube and twitch but all of a sudden it stopped working unless i gave it permission to access all sites. All sites means every website you visit, including something sensitive like your banking website. now that's creepy.

Inserts advertisement for certain youtube streamers into twitch, with no option to remove. Changed to require permissions to read and change data on all sites, with no explanation of why.

Used to like this extension, was a huge help to improve stream quality on Youtube. But now it needs permission to view data on all sites? Huge deal breaker. Uninstalled.

Descent extension however, perms to read and change all data on all sites? No way that should be required. Also I don't like that I don't watch Ludwig or follow him on Youtube or Twitch yet he shows up on my followers list on Twitch? Like no one should not show up there at all unless I am following them. I get why I would see it if followed but I'm not. You should be able to add and remove things in the extension through a menu, like the twitch prime stuff that's just an eye sore on YouTube.

While I appreciate the convenience this provides in youtube streams, there's no way I can (or anyone should) trust an extension with permissions to read and change all data on all websites.

Was fine, but now it's majorly bugging out YouTube after the update. Lots of empty white space where normal youtube UI should be and I'm unable to fullscreen a video without a large portion being covered up. Makes it unusable. Disabling the extension fixed the problem.

Was great before it needed permission on all sites. Even if streamers have their own site tie in to a stream, find a way to work without permission for every single site you visit.

With the recent changes, it wants permission to read and change information on ALL websites. I don't understand how this is helpful in improving streaming experience, most extensions with a specific job like this one have access only to the websites it supports it. Why would I allow it to view my entire web browsing? I don't know what data it looks at and what it stores, but I'm uncomfortable to have this extension installed while browsing private stuff (bank accounts, etc).

Fishy escalation of access permissions. There's no reason for it need all sites. I no longer trust this extension and recommend nobody agree to these new permissions. It's likely to harvest your browsing and website data to sell to advertisers. In terms of features, they were nice when they were new, but it seems like there's zero development progress. No new features or improvements to existing features since I've first downloaded this extension. Basically zero customization for the few features it does have. Clearly was a low-effort attempt at capitalizing on a dead market.

Didn't worked at all, crippled my youtube experience, youtube was stuttering and struggling a lot, I don't recommend it. Just use regular youtube chat, otherwise your youtube expirience is pretty much ruined. Disappointed.

I use Mac and custom theater mode does not work, experimental features automatically turns off.

Extension forces a 🐽🐷PIGGY 🐷🐽 icon on the top of every YouTube page. Why did they do this? Why is there no way to disable this SPAM?? 1 ⭐ star until you get over your PIG obsession (fetish?)

Doesn't work on Macbook on youtube. Only thing that changed is the logo/menu is on the youtube page now. otherwise didn't change how chat looked at all and doesn't go on the side of video when in theater mode

breaks twitch for whatever reason

Uninstalled as you haven't been able to sign in for over a month and im not sure if it does anything on twitch but there's a broken ludwig link on there that doesn't work.

when i try to connect my twitch account to the extention it only says try again towmorrow. And its been like that for months
