Common Name: Spider Plant Scientific Name: Chlorophytum comosum Leaves: Long, pointed, soft. Light green with creamy white stripes in the middle or on both sides, depending on the variety. Stem: No distinct stem, leaves grow in clumps from the base. Can grow small branches that look like “spider” crawling out of the pot. Pot: Usually grown in small plastic pots, suitable for tabletops, hanging or edging walkways.
