Description

QuestBase is a free application that provides everything you need to create and manage your assessments, tests, quizzes and exams, both on-line and printed. Designed as a training and learning tool, QuestBase can also be used for selection tests, psychological tests, satisfaction and opinion surveys, market researches and customer feedback. This new version adds several new features and bug fixes. Now you can also embed video and audio files into your questions, ready to be played even on iPads and Android tablets. Additionally, a brand new Equation Editor has been added. Finally, you can now print and export to PDF responses and given answers, and manage your students and classes. New June 2014: You can now share your assessments with other teachers and coworkers to reuse questions and save time!

The app is clunky and is missing several fields that would be useful if we are to use if for a certifying exam. But even worse is the way QuestBase manages its business. I received a confirmation email that contained my password! Nobody should send passwords via email. Then, they cancelled my trial account, even though I had paid for a one-year subscription. The company that manages their payments (PayPro) could not do anything but give me an email address to complain to. Shoddy business, sub-par product. Avoid this company.
