β οΈRequests 1 sensitive permission
Description
Request Interceptor Pro is an advanced web development and security testing tool that turns your browser into a local debugging proxy. By leveraging the native Chrome Debugger API, it allows you to pause, inspect, modify, and drop outbound network requests before they leave your browser.
Designed specifically for web developers, penetration testers, and QA engineers, this tool eliminates the need for heavy external proxies for everyday API debugging and security auditing.
π Key Features: β’ Real-time Interception: Pause outgoing HTTP/HTTPS requests triggered by page loads, AJAX/Fetch calls, and form submissions. β’ Live Modification: Edit URLs, HTTP methods, query parameters, headers, and body payloads (POST/PUT/PATCH) on the fly before forwarding them to the server. β’ Drop & Forward: Block specific requests to test application resilience, or quickly forward them unaltered. β’ Request Builder (Replay): Clone intercepted requests or forge entirely new ones. Custom requests are executed directly within the target tab's context, ensuring session cookies and CORS rules are properly respected. β’ Form Hijacking: Securely intercepts form submissions (including target="_blank" and multipart/form-data) allowing you to analyze and alter payloads before the new window opens.
π¨βπ» Who is this for? β’ Web Developers debugging REST APIs or frontend-backend communication. β’ Security Researchers & Pentesters looking for vulnerabilities (e.g., modifying hidden fields, testing validation logic). β’ QA Engineers testing how web applications handle unexpected or manipulated server inputs.
π Privacy & Permissions Statement (Developer Transparency): This extension requires the debugger and <all_urls> permissions to function. These are strictly used to attach the local debugging protocol to the specific tab you choose to analyze, enabling the Fetch domain to pause network traffic. Privacy First: This tool operates 100% locally on your machine. Intercepted data, headers, and payloads are NEVER transmitted to any third-party servers, collected, or tracked. We do not store any of your browsing data.
Note: When the interception session is active, Chrome will display a standard yellow banner at the top of your screen indicating that the debugger is attached. This is a built-in browser security feature to keep you informed.
