Why you don't say it is sort alphbetically ? a lot fake reviews

It should give menu/option to ask which folder I want to sort etc

I added it to Chrome, clicked the icon, hoping that some sorting menu would be displayed, and this bastard immediately sorted 6,000 bookmarks in its own way. Horror. It's good that I have two computers and I managed to export my bookmarks on the second one.

Abandoned project, duplicates folders and bookmarks. Not working.

There should be option to do it by folder not all the f**kin bookmarks. Effed up my bookmarks Thank you for that

I installed this and lost my bookmarks. I can see bookmarks tab on the bar but clicking on the bookmarks tab no longer drops down for link selection.

Can't get it to work and can't find any instruction. Clicked the icon and it just says bookmarks sorted - no provision visible to change sort criteria.

Dammit you could at least make a simple prompt and not making irreversible changes without even asking.

Only sort by name. Includes bookmarks bar, which is a bad idea for anybody who actually uses it. It should exclude that be default.

It sorts the bookmark toolbar as well as all of your other bookmarks. Now I have to reorder my bookmarks again. No option to change this behavior either.

That was something I was looking for, thanks for the job. However, if you can provide us a couple option, that would be awesome. For example, I would prefer subfolders to come after bookmarks, not before. For another option, I would like to sort bookmarks according to url not the bookmark name. Also, that might be an edge request tho, I would not sort the bookmarks bar, just inside of folders would work better for me.

Cannot prioritize bookmarks nor make groups.

Installed Recursive Bookmark Sorter extension. Closed all Chrome tabs. Exited the browser and then restarted the Chrome browser. Right click on icon has no User options. This sorts everything including the bookmarks bar. I have the show RAM extension as well.. When I clicked the Recursive Bookmark Sorter button, RAM jumped between 4.3 GB to 4.7 GB. While this was happening, my Gaming Laptop fans were running full blast. After the extension finished a few minutes later the fans stopped. My whole bookmarks bar is now sorted (root folders, sub folders, and their content bookmarks), but inside my bookmarks manager there are still tons of duplicate bookmarks and duplicate folders. Checked Chrome browser settings Task manager to see that the extension stopped. So that's all it did. Uninstalled

can only sort by name.

Worked great -- would be cool if it had more options (i.e. other sorting criteria / delete duplicates / automatic sorting) and if it worked with other add-ins (Like TabCloud for example).

Works, but would be nice to have an automatic sort option.
