I just discovered that this extension was freezing my whole Chrome.

For a couple of weeks now this plugin has stopped consistently scrobbling tracks. On Last.fm I'd see "Currently Playing", but by the next track it's gone. Apparently the API has separate calls for "Currently Playing" and "scrobbled", so this extension doesn't work.

For quite some time it doesn't scrobble Youtube Music on Chrome browser. Is it a known issue, reported in Github as requested but no fix for almost a year. Sadly, will have to put low rating and find another app.

"Scrobbler" work only during song are playing. When song ends, the "scrobble" doesn't count in last.fm!

Not scrobbling. Only shows the scrobbling music on last.fm website. When the music ends it's not being scrobbled.

scrobbling works but save nothing. I just see "scrobbling in action" on my lastfm profile page and current plaing song. Fix please.

Only halfway working. Doesn't scrobble some of the songs at all, also scrobbles some of them twice etc.

It barely scrobbles anything. It has to be on the same page as the music playing atm. Terrible. Also, doesn't memorize on cache the songs you just listened.

Often just does not scrobble anything. When I check, complete album playthroughs have not been scrobbled. Really unreliable scrobbler.

Stopped working.

Conflicts with Macbook media keys. Media keys stop working outside of Google Music application if this plugin is enabled.

Missing scrobbles

So far, it works wonderfully. I've tried so many of them that I'd almost given up. Many thanks for being the only one that works properly for me. I'm forever grateful. :) UPDATE: Unfortunately, it no longer scrobbles anything for me. It's only been like this for the last two weeks but since it's the only reason I used the extension, until there's a fix I don't really have any reason to. Sorry.

It works as expected except that the first track is always skipped at being counted as scrobbled.

Works most of the time but just skips maybe 30 to 40% of the songs I listen to. It's playing the whole song and shows as scrobbling now but they don't stay in the list once it's finished.

Please repair it

Thought was going okay, but then i realized it only "scrobbles" while the song is playing and the plays count doesn't even change after the song finishes :/

I'm scrobbling from Google Play Music and I think I've figured out that whenever I pause a song, unpausing it gives me an extra scrobble. So when I have to pause a song e.g. 3 times, I get 4 scrobbles. This is annoying. Otherwise thumbs up (y)

Doesn't scrobble the same song multiple times if song on repeat. Other than that, seems to work fine.

I don't understand why this extension has to have access to my browsing history. It's very intrusive.

This extension seems to send "now playing" requests every second. (I checked with tcpdump). This really is overkill. The scrobbling api specifies you only need to send it when you start the track. If you just send the track duration, you'll ensure it stays active accurately. Sending it multiple times just resets it to the default (which I think is five minutes). And every second, just seems spammy.

This extension is pretty reliable but if, for some reason, it gets disconnected from last.fm, you'll never know until you notice the tracks aren't scrobbling. Also, a hotkey to love a track would be nice.

Average performance compared to another scrobbler that supports Google Play Music.

Sometimes randomly stops working, usually needs a relog after a cache clear for some reason

When it works it works really well. For some reason it only seems to scrobble maybe 10% of the music I play.

Works, but often looses its focus on google play and details of what's being played (in the pop-up).
