Spammy - forces you to rate the extension before it will work and doesn't even make that clear. Also force opens windows for other extensions upon installation.

SHORT : Doesn't work right. Non-functional. LONG : Controls don't work. Randomly says, "No playing sound currently on tabs" in moments WHEN THERE *IS* SOUND PLAYING ON ONE OR MORE TABS. (I tested for both; with one singular tab producing sound AS WELL AS /more/ than one tab producing sound at the same time... Neither scenario involved this thing being FUNCTIONAL.) Slider (which is supposed to let you customize the volume output levels; AKA, the f***ing controller itself) randomly locks; AND, it doesn't even change the volume if you CAN get it to move! LONGER : Volume slider is probably THE Dumbest Thing here. First, it's set to "300" by default — WTH?? Second, it randomly decides it Does Not Want To Move/Be Moved, Period — so, you're UNABLE to **Control** The ***Volume*** while trying to use this extension which is literally TITLED ***Volume*** **Controller**! Third, even if/when the "No playing sound currently on tabs" message is replaced with a statement that there /is/ sound playing on your tab(s) — which, I would've copied/pasted that message for y'all's convenience, but /I couldn't even get it to acknowledge that there was, indeed, audio coming from, not just one, but TWO separate tabs, / so I couldn't even SEE that message in order to recreate it — A: the slider will just Refuse To Move, AND/OR B: The. F***ing. Volume. Controller. Doesn't. Even. Change. The. F***ing. Volume. Output. BRUH!!!! I'm talking, even /IF/ the slider /does/ decide to get moved when you try to move it, /there's no difference in the audio you hear anyways./

Dosent work on spotify

Works well, and does what it needs to do. However, at times opening my browser I would suddenly have the author's website open in a new tab. This is malicious behaviour, so I have removed the extension.

Okay there is something clearly wrong with this addon. Whenever I open amazon primevideo, it gets redirected automatically to couple of other websites before coming back to primevideo. One of them ad tracking service (r.srvtrck.com) and the other some kind of a news site (digitach.net). I installed antivirus and antimalware to scan my system but it dint pick up anything. Then a google search pointed out that it might be because of the addons and suggessted to remove them one by one and check. These free addons high jack the url and purposefully redirect it through some ad click sites (r.srvtrck.com in this case) to generate ad revenue without the knowledge of the user. I have uninstalled the addons in my browser one by one and found out this is the addon responsible for redirection. This shouldn't be in chrome store!

Works as intended, but every half hour or so opens a window to the chrome web store for their equalizer app that I don't want to get. Shame because it works well. I guess if you don't mind having anything you're doing interrupted every 20-30 minutes or so it'll work for you.

Like a lot of other reviews at the moment, used it for almost a year without any issues, but just recently it started to just not work properly.

when opening a twitch clip there is no audio at all, after refreshing the page anywhere from the first attempt to 10+ attempts the audio works again.

Good at controlling volume, but for some reason this extension makes it so when you exit a fullscreen video, the browser stays fullscreen and I have to additionally press f11 to get back to normal. Don't know if it's a conflict with opera or some other extension I have, but this is the extension that's doing it.

When I increase the volume, the audio crackles...

Not sure how to access all the (possibly) great features it talks about in the store description. All I see is one slider (??!!). It's me, right? It must be me.

it was ok for a month or more use, but now its not working, I use it mainly for Facebook because videos there are always with so loud audio and volume control never work. but now this addon is not working please fix it.

It was excellent prior to the 02 Dec 2022 update worked perfectly. Post update it no longer has control of audio on any tabs.

doesn't seem to be working on the site i was using it on anymore after the update loved the extension before that though hopefully a fix will come later if this is a bug still want to love it and use it but as it stands now i simply can't sadly since it doesn't seem to work and the rectangle isn't showing in the tab either but it does show that the tab is active and has audio when setting the audio slider
