chrome literally download faster

I downloaded a 1 GB file, and then after it finished downloading, I open File Explorer and IT'S GONE!

Does not work

it keeps installing on its own....

wanted to download a game it downloaded it in an unknown format except of .rar

How can I use it when I can't see a thing? After installing and launching the app, everything is WHITE without any text! I have the latest chrome browser and all other apps and extensions are working properly.

First one I tried, it downloaded a file named "Code 400.html" instead of the actual content. Also, it's really confusing to use, I just want to click download and have it multi-thread it. Like Torchbrowser does but without the adware.

Does not work sadly, its download the html file instead.

Doesn't seem to support ftp:// protocol. Says servers don't support multi-threading when they do.

Deserves 0 stars. Wonderful concept, but app fails to execute it. Its laughable. I have both app and helper, restarted the browser and it fails to operate. Its quite pointless if I manually add all links to it. That's what IDM is for.

did not work - just wasted 100mb of mobile data plan thanks to this app. NOT RECOMMENDED! it says it downloaded the file, but it's not in the location.

I can't add a download link. The link works but the page just reloads when I try to add it. And according to all recent ratings, I am not the only one with this problem. I have seen that there is a v2 of this extension so maybe that one works. ... It worked. It's tricky to use and you need to clear your Chrome cache each time as this extension saves your download cache potentially consuming gigabytes worth of storage space.No option to save cached files on another local drive which isn't a SSD. The consequence, premature wear on your SSD or NVMe drive.

Could you make Turbo Download Manager, replacing the default downloads?

Occasionally, will drop part of the file. Perhaps a splicing issue? I notice this when I download a video file and occasionally I'll get a section in the file that is garbage/missing. Looking at the original file, I've verified that the data is all there. My video player (VLC) usually can deal with this dropout and syncs, but causes audio and video artifacts. This is still quite a good programme and look forward to seeing it improve.

I would give it 4 stars if it doesn't limit up to 10 threads only. I would give it 5 stars if it doesn't limit download access for large files from certain major countries only.

Good application but with the last upgrade I cannot see the download links in the manager page if I close the browser and then re-open it again! Pls fix the bug!

It did its job but it didn't increase the speed much.

does its job, no ads, nice. Problem is memory consumtion. It takes 600 mb downloading 150 mb file in 8 threads

Download very good but where is the "set as default downloader" setting? Users have manually right click the file it's tiresome & not all links on website are direct link.
