Convert.com easy QA is a Chrome extension designed to simplify the QA process for Convert.com A/B tests. It allows you to manually set the _conv_v cookie using a specific experiment ID and variant ID, ensuring the correct variant loads immediately and stays consistent across all pages in a test flow. This is especially useful for agency clients or stakeholders who need to verify an experiment but don’t have direct access to the Convert platform. Instead of relying on internal tooling, they can use this extension to activate and test experiments with minimal setup. Paste a Convert preview URL (optional) - If available, the extension will auto-fill the experiment and variant IDs. Enter Experiment ID and Variant ID manually - Each must be a 10-digit number. Click “Add to cookie” - This sets the _conv_v cookie so the correct variant loads immediately. Navigate the site - You’ll now see the specified variant across all relevant pages. To reset - Click “Remove cookie” to delete the _conv_v cookie and return to default behavior. The extension uses only the necessary permissions to read and write cookies and interact with the active tab. No user data is stored or transmitted.
