I'm reviewing the reviews for this extension, which have all the telltale signs of being fake. I cannot stand fake reviews, whether they're posted by bots or by people paid to post them; it's dishonest. Either way, companies that put fake reviews on their products (regardless of how they're created) are lying. They are seeking to manipulate customers' decisions by misleading them into believing their products are credible through fake reviews. It boils my blood, which is why I'm writing this. Consider this: 1) There's an overabundance of 5-star reviews for this extension. 2) The majority of the 5-star reviews are so generic, not citing any specific features, functionalities, applications, or even the extension's name, that they can be applied to any Chrome extension in the Chrome Web Store. Please consider the following 5-star reviews (the entirety of their comments in the review without paraphrasing or cherry picking) from the last 20 years below: i) "Top-notch support. Besides the great features, the support team is excellent. Any issues are resolved promptly and professionally." ii) "Highly recommend this extension to anyone looking to enhance their browsing experience. Works like a charm!" iii) "An excellent extension that greatly simplifies working online. Its functionality is intuitive." iv) "This is exactly what I needed for my workflow. Easy, lightweight, and very helpful." v) "great extension . thank you for it" vi) "Great and very useful extension." vii) "Unique extension, I like it so much" viii) "Excellent extension that greatly simplifies work on the Internet. Its functionality is intuitive, which makes use comfortable and enjoyable. I recommend it to everyone!" ix) "Fast and good extension and helps a lot" x) "Nice💚💚💚💚" xi) "Nice extension, experience is so good" xii) "I find everything I need very easily with the help of this extension." xiii) "easy and good extension" xiv) "Easy to use and useful extension" xv) "They are a fantastic tool for those looking to simplify their work. I love them" xvi) "Thanks to these extensions, I can accomplish tasks in half the time" xvii) "a lot of time saved" xviii) "everything is amazing" xix) "A great and useful extension" ... and that's over more than a year of reviews. Granted, I didn't post all of them. I excluded a few that seemed relevant. The extension only had one non-5-star review over the last 13 months. It was a 2-star review that raised a significant issue with the product, which was interesting, but the developers' response was more revealing than the negative reviewer's comments. The review stated, "It does not work well on items like collectible action figures and cannot differentiate between a Dragon Ball Z figure and a GI Joe figure. Good idea, but likely only useful on well known consumer brands." The developer responded, "Thanks for the honest feedback. You're right, it's more useful on well known consumer brands." This is important because they emphasize, "3. Download images and video from AliExpress, Alibaba, Taobao, and 1688.com." To me, this suggests the extension is designed to help sellers find products on AliExpress, Alibaba, Taobao, and 1688.com that they can then resell on eBay. That said, when was the last time you found genuine (keyword: "genuine") "well known consumer brands" on AliExpress, Alibaba, Taobao, and 1688.com? I haven't. Usually, I find replicas, knockoffs, generic, unbranded, or unlabeled products selling at a discount when compared to their counterparts/competitors—A.K.A. "well known consumer brands." Let's wrap this up, folks. The point is, you shouldn't trust the reviews for this Chrome Extension. If you do decide to try it, then take a couple minutes to share your authentic opinion of your experience with the extension. If you're still reading this, thanks for sticking through it with me. I hope this was helpful to at least one person. Otherwise, it was helpful for me!
doesnt work, no idea how it has so many 5 star reviews must be fake
The image search does not work, ir-relevant results.
I literally right clicked an image on ebay and searched for it and it gave all kinds of different results except for what I was looking for.
Absolutely terrible. You can ONLY search by image? So when I search a picture of a laptop, it shows me a bunch of bare LCD screens, and for some reason replacement ear pieces for headphones. You can't enter a single search term or search by text. Would be infinitely more useful if you could just highlight some text and search. Not sure what they were thinking
It does not work well on items like collectible action figures and cannot differentiate between a Dragon Ball Z figure and a GI Joe figure. Good idea, but likely only useful on well known consumer brands.
