Description

Monitor earthquakes around the world including US Geological Survey, New Zealand GeoNet, UK BGS, EMCS, Natural Resources Canada, Indonesia Tsunami Early Warning, GFZ Potsdam, National Observatory of Athens,Istituto Nazionale Di Geofisica E Vulcanologia, and Geoscience Australia. It shows earthquake icons with tool tips on a Google Maps backdrop. The icon will look more transparent the older the event was published. There is also a list view which can be used to sort the earthquake events according to the date/time, region, and disaster type. Clicking on the icon will bring up more details about the event.

a very detailed app but needs tweaking on the update aspect based on time. and i guess the other domains offered don't give sufficient information based on given time. needs fixing on that aspect.has been on my browser for quite sometime.

It just stopped loading anything but a white screen so I removed it.

I like it, but it takes way too long to load the information.

The circles identifying each quake should be larger if the magnitude is greater. When they are all the same size the important ones are lost in the aftershocks. I do appreciate the color differentiation but there is no clear indication as to what each color means - here's a thought, make red the quakes that happened in the last 24 hours, and then scale by colors down to blue or purple being the ones that happened the longest ago.
