Paddles and Shark Teeth

These are the shadows on a concrete sea wall of the paddles and shark teeth awarded for finishing the Everglades Challenge, a 300 mile small boat race, sometimes referred to as the toughest small boat race in the world. The quote “So we beat on, boats against the current...” is from F. Scott Fitzgerald's "The Great Gatsby". IronBob (that's me) and my son, Druce Finlay (TheJuice), as of 2015, have taken 1st Place in this race 3 times, each time paddling in Class 2, kayaks without downwind sail. With these paddles and teeth began the Chronicles of the Sea Breeze Ninjas.
