Lost my Files So I Talked to my dad for like 4 hours and only the important things were lost. I hate this app. Please do not download it.

As most everyone else here can attest, it doesn't record for longer periods, like an interview or lecture. It ought to warn you of this up front. Once it crashes, the data is lost forever.

If you try to record a file more than a couple of minutes long it indicates that it is recording but then as soon as you try to save the file it crashes. Just wasted half an hour of my life on two takes of something that should have been incredibly simple to record.

It was great for many months, but recently it stopped allowing me to save files. I press the mic and it indicates that it is recording. When I stop recording, I don't get the prompt which indicates that it downloaded to my computer. I tried uninstalling then reinstalling the app, and that didn't get rid of the problem. It used to save my recordings, then one day for no reason it just stopped working.

After two days of use, it stopped picking up sound at all.

Never fails to crash after I record something important. doesnt seem to like long recordings.

Tried to use it twice for interviews and it stopped recording during the interview both times. Will not be using again.

How to recover my audio file which was not saved since it crashed on me after 20min recording :(

If you like to sound like you are under water this app is for you.

It crashed after recording 20 minutes of an interview and my audio was lost and not replaceable. Find a more reliable web app.

tried using it several times for recording lectures 4/5 times it had crashed during use and was not able to recover the audio. I would suggest looking for a reliable alternative.

Used it to try and record lectures for my online classes. Twice, after 40 minute lectures, it crashed. Wasted 80 minutes of my life.

Crashed twice when I attempted to record a podcast, don't bother with this.

DON'T USE IT! DOESN'T WORK!! Didn't record anything, then crashed my Chromebook :/ Tried it again and it worked, once. Then I tried it for a longer recording, and it didn't work. I stopped recording and the download button was greyed out. This is a terrible design. It should just automatically save the recording.

It's beautifully simple but crashes after a few minutes recording when you try to store it.

Does not work. Downloaded and it shows nothing but a littel mic. No functional parts. A scam perhaps

I can reliably record 1 minute of audio. I don't know if it stops itself from recording or if the save feature only saves a minute of audio but I can't get it to record more than a minute to a minute and a half.

Does not include recording of system audio, despite being first Google search result for "record system audio chrome".

its great for short clips, but it doesn't seem to work for recording a 45 minute lecture. Lost the entire lecture.

My app keeps crashing almost every other time I try to download the file. I am recording a class session and this is very frustrating!

Seemed ok at first but when i recorded 3 seperate times about 15-20 minute clips it froze or crashed waisted about 3-4 hours with it DONT DOWNLOAD save the trouble find another app @ChillionaireNW

OK for short recordings, but it crashes if the recording is over 15 or 20 minutes. I tried recording a voice-over for a YouTube video, and it crashed and lost all my audio.

no way of controlling mic sensitivity and it really needs its own player and snipping with active EQ

does it only record as wav files...no mp3 im still new to it but its so basic

It didn't seem to want to record what I wanted it to record, as apparently it cannot record on my computer.

Seems to record to memory rather than to disk, meaning that once free memory runs out the machine becomes unresponsive. In my testing (30 minute recording), it only saved the first 31 seconds (but did not indicate a problem). Maybe it will work for shorter clips which is not useful to me. Also no play button and the UI gives no indication about what the recording histogram is for.

chokes a bit for longer recordings. For 10-15 minute recordings you got a 50/50 chance of it not working. But that might be the computers processor not the app

Could use more features, options, and settings. Gets the job done. Use a good mic if you are using this. Not good for extended (15-20 minute) recordings.
