Boomerang - SOAP & REST Client

Like the very first step, uploading a json collection from Postman : Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'raw') seriously ....

It doesn't work after the update. Writes an network error. Please verify the URL and ensure it is accessible

not able to see header data after last update all header values are contain the name of the header key instead of real value

Latest update seems to have broken SOAP request testing

Must active all headers from all request. Revert all please.

Export changes the order of actions randomly and forgets all assertions. When importing again, everything is messed up. No response from developer about this issue.

Fails to work under a modern Chromium (Ubuntu 18.04). Wondering if it is even maintained anymore.

When you duplicate a Request, Headers are not copied, so you have to add them each time and thats a bad thing... 04-03-2020, all requests have disappeared suddenly.. I'll have to enter them again! It seems that boomerang updates can erase all your work.. Beware before using it...

Excellent Plug-In. But one day it suddenly got removed from chrome and all projects and work gone :(.

it was an excellent tool. Now it's a premiumware and all my configuration are lost.

Very useful until I run up against the new "five requests per day" limit. Looks like it's back to Postman.

this is a great tool, but in the last update I lost all my information of my project that's the reason I'm etting one start. If you are a new user of this app is 100% recommended

Why did you remove Boomerang from my computer?

Can't uninstall it. I've removed it countless times and each time I relaunch Chrome - it's back asking for extra permissions.

Lost all projects, won't rely on toy tools in future. here is your 1 star sir.

I lost all my projects after the last update and I did not receive any warning, believe me, I would have seen.. :(

After 6 months working with it, crashed, then every start up attempt end up with "whoops, an error has occurred" and it lost all my work. So, being so easy for it to loose its content, can be considered severely flawed.

does not work in Chromium 45 on Ubuntu

Ever since the new version has been installed, I keep losing my projects from the project list. As soon as I close and open a new tab for boomerang, boom!! all the old projects gone. I don't seem to find a way to save them permanently. If I add a new project in addition to the existing ones, all of them appears with the new name, all three with the same name and even the contents. I try to refresh, one come back but the other two still a copy of each other. In the older version, I was even able to close the browser and was able to open the extension with my pervious work still there after months.

Bit disappointing. Was using Wizdler which is now being switched off by Chrome. Wizdler was able to take a WSDL file and not only find all available functions but also list all the parameters and their data types in a readymade SOAP envelope. With Boomerang, all I get is a completely empty SOAP envelope as a starting point for the request, so I've got to somehow work out the parameters and data types myself.

This extension collects your personal identity info including real name, email address(es), accounts, and other unspecified personal info. Why??? Seems totally unnecessary and other REST and HTTP client apps don't collect this info -- there is no need. I deleted this extension.

Barely works. Does not generate requests from WSDL, you have to define everything manually every time

Nice, simple extension to easily test web services. It has a bad tendency to crash and lose previously saved settings when working with large result sets.

It is ok, missing support for request-chaining though, therefor not very useful for me

Keeps popping up reminders about purchase after being bought. Annoying. As with many other tools like this the management of changes in configuration is hard and locked inside the app. Teamwork is complicated and sharing the configuration with for example a version control system is not possible. The tool is good for soap testing, but not professional because it lacks interoperability and configuration change management.

Was good but now my projects have disappeared and you have to pay for it now. Shame! Will try Postman instead.

When i pressed Update WSDL it didn't update my current requests i made, i changed my WSDL targetNamespace at the root element as well as in the action elements and it didn't detect it.

pros: Good effort. Tried it, and it actually works. cons: somewhat slower then current SoapUI

I love it... but parameters not working...

Looks good, unfortunately i cannot see anyway of authenticating to WSDLs, every one i add (that requies AUTHN), i get an error chucked that it cannot find the WSDL.
