Used to work fine now it keeps giving me wrong songs everytime i use the damn thing

Has terrible accuracy and is unable to identify the correct songs, even those from videos when there is no voiceover. When the app is not saying "Sorry! Cannot Find Song", it will either show songs that are entirely incorrect (wrong genre or sometimes it will link to podcasts or talk shows), or as recently I have noticed, will sometimes link to nonsensical AI slop music. Not recommended at all. So much for "Next-generation song finder", unfortunately. This used to be an amazing extension, but recently it has gone extremely downhill. Avoid at all costs.

mediocre at best, and sometimes it just suggests something that is NOT EVEN CLOSE to what is being played.. it used to be good, but something made it trash.

Doesn't work. Can only find main stream songs from the past. Anything newer or not super well known is a no go. Basically only works for songs you already know the name of.

Was good for a while but is just broken and not working anymore, every single time giving a music that isn't related in any way.

Used to work perfectly idk what happened it just shows random songs that aren't even the same lyrics/genre as the one im playing

It can't detect super slowed or remix music

It has become worse in past year. It used to be so good and recognize songs in less time that even shazam couldn't. Now it takes ages and gives wrong answer 90% of the time. Pathetic downgrade.

He can't find the songs and music he needs. It gives out absolutely the wrong thing. One star on the total

Used to be very good, now it can't ID common songs. It identifies common popular songs as a completely different unrelated song each time you run it. Seriously, what happened? I'm pretty sure "Happy Birthday" is not a Vietnam single person band release from two days ago.

Database outdated, showing me meaningless results, not useful anymore.

i keep getting songs in japanese and korean for some reason FIX YOUR GODAMN EXTENSION

The "cover song" feature ruined this extension. It now thinks everything is a cover of some song that sounds nothing like what's playing. It correctly identifies "obscure" songs maybe 10% of the time now, which defeats the purpose and creates more headache than it's worth.

It stopped working after 26th june

Brower Can't record Audio. This has worked for me for years, but stopped working here in the last week or two.

Worked amazingly until late June 2025, suddenly getting the "Your browser can't record audio" bug. Hope thy can fix it.

I don't know where this problem comes from but suddenly it doesn't want to find anything anymore it wants it might be time to do an update

Ever since they added "Cover Song Identification?" "Cover song identification aims at finding cover versions of a given music track in a large music database, these cover versions share a similar melodic line, but differ in one or several aspects such as key, tempo, structure, instrumentation or even genre." GUESS WHAT, it turns what you are looking for 1 to 1 into mess of protentional results.

Totally worthless, feels like if the song ur searching for isn't on the top charts AHA won't have a clue. Just searched for two songs and it lead me to some old german radio show segment. Better off asking youtube commentors instead of this time sink.

Been using it for over a year, it works on some songs but not at all on others. For example I just recorded the exact same song 3 times and it gave me 3 different song names, and none of them sound like what was recorded. (Edit) After some further work, it's gotten to about 8. I tested it on another song which it also got blatantly wrong.

Sorry, of course, but your browser extension does not search for songs at all, it says that there is no network, network error

This is the worst plugin there is. It cannot recognize one song - I am using this since 2023 and click it a lot - removing it now - ....

It doesn't work most of the time and when it by any chance attempts at not being entirely useless, it comes with results that are plain borderline idiotic unacceptable! For example i was trying to figure out a piece of classic music, sure as hell this useless thing directed me to a some unknown rapper that used whole 2 seconds of said classic music. Extension doesn't work most of the time and it sucks when it miracuously does work

Just like Shazam, doesn't recognize anything. I guess it's good if you like lyrics, but to those who have better musical taste and know hidden gems, this is worthless

Can't even correctly identify songs. It's "identifying" completely wrong songs, artists, and genres; as well as 70% of the time it can't identify it at all. HORRIBLE EXTENSION

Doesn't work.

It cannot find basic songs with millions of views. It either finds some bs song with 1000 views that doesnt remotely sound the same or it doesnt find anything.

Just like Shazam and SoundHound, if it's not a popular song, nothing comes up.
