Pause Gmail by cloudHQ

Did anyone get this to work? It literally doesn't pause any emails. I have it on "Pause" and I sit and watch the emails all come in.

I just spent an hour trying to figure out why I was no longer getting notifications. This extension adds a block on Gmail notifications even when the "pause" time is up. So get this awesome extension and press "pause", then the notifications will be blocked FOREVER. Brilliant.

It's not working all of a sudden. I'm still receiving emails while pausing the inbox.

Used to work great, but stopped working over the last week. Emails still coming in despite Pause being active.

Great in theory, but it does not prevent emails from hitting my inbox. It says the inbox is paused, but I'll get an email and it will override/ignore the pause.

It does prevent new messages from showing up in the feed, but it doesn't prevent the red notification circle and a new email counter from showing up. Which should be the whole point of this app. To be improved.

Would love an "Until I Unpause" or "TFN" option in addition to the timed pauses, especially for the weekends :)

The Pause-button is slightly too close to the Compose-button to be comfortable & pleasing to the eye... :d (Details... But still!) Boomerang does this part better. Haven't tried Inbox when ready and Do Not Disturb for Gmail yet. A necessary function in your today's inbox, but it is offered by other extensions too.
