Citavi Picker

doesn't work 80% of the time, does not react to clicks most of the time, doesn't recognize a lot of pdfs... imagine paying for citavi and having to rely on this extension.

Needed it for uni work since my group settled on this "tool" to track our sources, somehow i ended up feeling like the tool, manually adding in sources. "With the add-on its really easy to add sources.", it's not. For the love of me i couldn't find my projects after logging in and as i can read from others here, people seem to share my experience. And how is it that all my google searches like "Citavi Picker Chrome Store" all lead to Citavis website and none to the chrome web store? Long story short, use anything but citavi.

Doesn't work.

Since a few days the web login doesn't function. The picker also doesn't recognize any open projects. Therefore, it can't be uesed at all. Restarting the machine several times as well as completely uninstalling the picker and Citavi, then installing the newest version of both didn't resolve the issue neither...

The picker does not work on the Citavi 6 update. Completely useless. Used to use it all the time. Nearly catestrophically disappointing as I was going to recommend this software to my employer, who employs ~14,000 scientists and engineers.

Rubbish. Since Citavi 6 the picker hasn't worked. Unfortunate because when it was working it was really useful!

both the program and plugin are getting worse with every patch... how are they even making money anymore?

Abandoned. It doesn't work on Chromium based browser as SRWare Iron

Crashing after first attempt in Chrome 32Bit. Have to always repair Citavi in Windows to reactivate.

citavi pickers is very useful for reference collection. However it crashed when Citavi upates.

SOLUTION after 2 hours: 1. In Firefox: open the Add-ons Manager (Ctrl+Shift+A). If the Citavi Picker is disabled, click Enable. It may not appear, go to search bar and write citavi picker and then install. 2.Chrome: FAQ from citavi support opened automatically in MS edge => picker does not appear => last option go to chrome webstore and download, problem was that on edge the download button did not appear and if I tried to go to the chrome web store in chrome it did not find citavi picker. UNTILL copied the link from ms edge in chrome and ONLY then it worked. 3. MS edge: can't remeber exactly, go to extensions and it should appear

Why do your engineers ignore the crash bug?

Citavi is the best software for organizing the knowledge and references. However, it is a pity that the citavi picker doesn't work perfectly for me. I'm now using the citavi 6.3 with chrome and firefox. Citavi picker doesn't appear after the ISBN number or DOI number all the time. For a search on google scholar, the picker flash and then disappears. Hope that the support team could help fixing this problem.

It was useful until these days. It is keep crashing now. I don't know what happened. Please fix this problem!

Doesn't show up in store when searching for 'citavi' or even copy & paste the name from this site. For some reason it sometimes takes ages until the result shows up in citavi.
