Margin Calculator

Quickly calculate the profit margins associated with a product by entering the original purchase price. This tool was originally intended to be used for customer sales reps to be able to quickly identify the maximum allowable discount they can provide on an item. It is also useful in determining profit capabilities when buying and reselling items on other sales platforms. Example: A product purchased at $19.99 cost would provide a 30 point margin if sold at $28.56 or a 32 point margin if sold at $29.40.
