YouTube channel location

Not even working wth

It does work, but sometimes it doesnt show the actual name of the channel, overlapping it so much that you can only see half a letter. The only other thing is that it takes a bit to load. Its MOSTLY fine

I've used other versions of this before. This one can work, but it's weirdly buggy. For example, it keeps mislabeling channels, e.g., US-based channels as being from Canada until you go to the channel's page, despite it being cached. Another example is cached channels, e.g., one based in Australia, displays as unknown until you go to the channel. Either there's an issue with caching, these are symptoms of the Manifest v3 rollout, and/or something else. Someone else described issues last year. Still not fixed. I was gonna rate it 3 stars, but honestly 2 is more fair once I noticed that. I'll change this review if the extension ever gets fixed. P.S., there's sort of a workaround: Go into the extension options and only allow the extension to work on the following pages: • Channel page • Subscriptions page In other words, uncheck everything else: • Watch page • Home page • Search page • Trending page • Shorts page (Also, this should go without saying, but once you do this, you can go into the extension's permissions and disable access to search page results, but if you didn't know that then you shouldn't be downloading browser extensions.) This should hopefully circumvent the bugs so that the extension (probably) always works when it is active. ... Screw it, that deserves a bump up to 3 stars; I'll update this review again if even that workaround has bugs or if the bugs are fixed in the next updates. Edit 08/27/2023: Also uncheck "Watch page" (adjusted the bullet lists to reflect this).

This Extension is inaccurate sometime, a channel that was based in Australia was told to be posted in the US (channel being cold one), and smaller channels with 50 subs will not show there country location, it is fine it just doesn't work some times. Also If you are a creep trying to find a kid's address using this this extension will not leak addresses. I will still be using this.
