I wanted to zoom in and out and I forgot about the zoom app

The option to "allow me to specify schedule options each time" is no longer visible for users who did not previously have this checked before a recent update. We manage this extension at the organization level. We really need this functionality back. I've opened a ticket with Zoom.

the recent version, the 'Make it a Zoom Meeting' option always appears at the top, which makes editing calendar events a quite uncomfortable.

we can't change the background with our own image? seriously?

I didn't have such a problem with this extension until they overwrote the google calendar settings to change the default "Save" function for every calendar event to "Make it a zoom meeting." Not everything I put in my Calendar is going to be a zoom meeting. Don't make it harder for me just to use my calendar because you want to insert yourself into every aspect of my life. I'm getting rid of this extension because it made itself a bigger hinderance than a help. If they don't fix this soon I'll be cancelling my zoom pro subscription. There are plenty of other options to use. Microsoft Teams works just fine and they don't overwrite my calendar pleading me to use them.

Wow. I've only ever used Zoom as an attendee. So when trying to use as a Host, I thought it would be easy. This is NOT user friendly.

This interferes with the native google calendar video conferencing selection. When just this extension is used to add zoom info to a calendar event, a google meet may also be used and the zoom desktop client joins the google meet instead of the zoom!

Keeps logging into an account which is not mine. Googled galore but can't find a solution anywhere. Getting hold of zoom is impossible.

Meetings still don't show up on the zoom website and you still can't add alternative hosts on the extension. It refuses to save entries under alternative hosts and since the meetings don't show up on the website you can't edit them there either.

Trying to set up a zoom meeting for 07/15/2024 but the calendar is stuck on 07/14/2024 and I can not edit it to change it to the correct date??

It's been a couple of weeks that it stopped working. I tried to remove and reinstall again but no luck.

I hope Zoom looks at these reviews. Last night I recorded an important company zoom, and found out afterwards that it did not download to my computer. Zoom support is only available in email support, at the Pro Level? I too have had similar issues with broken links, invites not able to get onto a call. Unfortunately, the response from Zoom customer support suggested it partially recorded to the cloud? Even that partial recording is not available. So based on the last month of issues.... I hope Zoom can address quickly, or another company will fill the void.

My camera not working in the last few MONTHS. I have follow all the prompts .

For weeks now, signing in to meetings has been a nightmare. I get a ms to update my s/w version but no instructions I have found work - I do not see the Help or version check. When I try to install anew, opening the install app just opens the page to sign in and join a meeting. Somehow after trying for several minutes, cycling thru the same pages to sign in & get told I have to upgrade the connection often finally comes thru. No help from Help or Customer Support. BTW, I have the free Basic version.

Signing in to Zoom is a nightmare, both via username and password, and via Google. Do please sort it out.

Having audio problems, no help from chat. Cannot find anything on this site to help. Very poor customer support. I would have hoped for better.

NOT EVERY USES ANDROID DEVICES AND THE LINK FOR THE WINDOWS VERSION IS USELESS!!

I repeat there is no local storage option for recording of meeting for chromebooks. please address this issue for chromebooks

Hijacks Calendar options without allowing for integration to be disabled: In particular, the takes over the [Save] button. on the initial popup. A discreet link might be OK, but not a big, bright blue [Make it a Zoom Meeting]: WTH?! Note that an option to disable the link from the small popup would alleviate this issue. I don't mind the link in the more-options page, because it blends in better, in particular without obscuring the [Save] button.

This extension does not work well. About once every two months I have to delete it and reinstall due to "an encountered exception."

Way to go Zoom on f-ing up your apps and extensions for PC. So stupid. I guess you dont want to be in business anymore. Whomever approved these "upgrades" needs to be fired.

Used to be a big fan of Zoom. After 9 hours today and 1.5 hours on the stupid live chat can't stand it. What was great about the service and the cool functionality has become just another business pain point. Cancelled a meeting this morning because the integration with Google Calendar decided not to work. This is how you kill businesses.

Agree with Aidan. Rediculous. Any update should be automatic or at least easy. I contacted support via chat and the link provided to do so gives instructions that aren't there. Click on your profile picture and choose check for updates. Guess what? There is NO 'check for updates' option available. Put that in the search window and get 'No Results'. BTW..........FYI.........I don't have an IT Team!!

Zoom cannot figure out how to function on my computer, saying that I need to contact my IT team to update my app. Absolutely absurd for a mult million dollar company to have an app that is unable to perform the simple task of functioning .

Stop forcing everything to be a zoom call, we're in person or making a simple phone call and youre like "MAKE IT A ZOOM" (or save) -- stop changing the UI to overpower everything else.

Can't even load google calendar thanks to this extension. How this isn't fixed within days let alone weeks is unbelievable.

Suddenly Google Calendar stopped loading. Came here to figure out it was this extension and it turns out this has been going on for a while. This should have been fixed with 24 hours, the person leading the product org should be worried about their job - the switching costs for these sorts of services is really low. I run a 100+ person company and could switch off zoom in 24 hours.

Sorry for the 1 star, but this extension prevents Google Calendar from loading, which is a huge deal. Luckily I found a google page suggesting to disable extensions and enable them one by one to find the culprit, and sure enough, it was this one (I also got a pop up on calendar about an exception with zoom scheduler)

Can NOT login, captcha FAILS every time. And by the way, having to type a captcha to login is just HORRIBLE.

This does not work no matter how many times I uninstall and reinstall. Hopefully they fix it.

It keeps logging me out. No way to stay signed in either using "sign in with google" or "company SSO"

I get this error message, every time :-( 400. That’s an error. The server cannot process the request because it is malformed. It should not be retried. That’s all we know.

Whenever I have this installed it I can't open my Google calendar at all. It won't load properly. Any suggests on how to resolve the conflict?

This extension cannot be used because of an error in authentication.

Meetings that I attempt to schedule in my Google Calendar (especially recurring meetings for classes that I teach) do not sync with my Zoom account, and they do not appear in the meetings in my Zoom account in the Zoom website, or in the desktop Zoom app.

(Bug) There's a bug that's stopping Google Calendar from loading when this is installed. Extension version 1.7.3. Chrome Version 98.0.4758.102 (Official Build) (64-bit)

I've got a problem that as long as I create an activity.The original description of the activity will just missing and become a strange code like "679389a4-d219-4298-a803-7ef448d5f4b5".I'm wondering if it could relate to that I download a this plugin just before this problem happened.Besides.it seems that it only happend in one of my account,cuz as long as I change an account,this problem would just disappear.Plz anyone help me solve that.Many thanks.

Despite entering the captcha correctly multiple times, based on both the image and the audio, it reports "You have entered the letters (CAPTCHA) incorrectly."

Not working. I entered the correct captcha and it still doesn't let me in saying incorrect captcha.
