You really messed up with version 2.256.8 The plugin was working well, why did you break it? I can no longer get to my lead or account page easily. It keeps asking me to log emails (which doesn't make any sense since they are all logged automatically). Please fix it! It was working fine before.
Constant issues with salesforce gmail integration- identifying incorrect email addresses with un associated accounts. Always needing to reauthenticate. Overall many issues and using the extension requires constant coaxing to work well. Sales force support for these issues seems to be nonexistent. We have had to stop checking emails sent as a KPI as the extension can not reliably track and record email communication. 2/10 PLEASE FIX YOUR EXTENSION!
"URL No Longer Exists". Uninstall, re-install. I will continually get this pop up. Cherry on top: it also says, "If you reached this page through a link on our site, please report the broken link directly to our Support Team and we will fix it promptly." The link also doesn't work.

Update: It didn't seem possible, but the extension is now worse that it was two months ago. It never works for more than a couple of hours, and then automatically logs out. It's massively frustrating to have to log into the Salesforce extension multiple times every day. Worse, now it won't log in at all. Previous 1-star reveiw: The Salesforce Chrome / Gmail extension used to work. I have had it installed an used it for a couple of years without any problems. For the past several weeks, however, there is an annoying bug. When you try to log an email in Salesforce, the Salesforce pane on the right of the Gmail window pops up an error saying that in order to log the email, Salesforce needs access to your Gmail account. Despite having repeatedly gone through this setup, the Salesforce integration will work for a day or two, sometimes three, and then it will break and once again, the Salesforce pane will say that it needs to have access to your Gmail account. I have removed the Salesforce extension, cleared cache, etc, and reinstalled the Salesforce extension. It will work for a day, or two, or sometimes three, and then the bug resurfaces.

Terrible! Everything used to work fine until Salesforce rolled out the new version. No pop up window anymore, constant error messages etc
This could, and should, be an amazing extension. We've used it for some time and although clunky it has been a great way to efficiently link email communications to our jobs/accounts/customer feedback records. Unfortunately in the last 2 months we've had nothing but URL error messages and have only been able to use it sporadically. Ridiculously, the 'advise us if you have a problem' link within the error message doesn't work either. Frustration levels through the roof, pull your socks up Salesforce.
This app is only marginally helpful. First, I constantly have to log back in to use it. More importantly, though, I can record emails to individuals, but I can't also record the email to Cases. (Note an earlier version of the app worked fine, but it is no longer available.) The app doesn't recognize any Cases unless I search for them at the top of the app sidebar. If I do that, I can select the Salesforce Case I want it recorded on, but what shows in the selection list below after doing that isn't the correct Case name. If I select that case with the wrong name, it generally doesn't record anything to either Case (the correct Case or the wrong one). I had a support case with Salesforce about this many months ago and at the time it seemed that we (the SF support person and I) were able to select the wrong Case name to record to but the email would actually record to the correct Case. But now it's not working at all for Cases. And Cases is probably the MOST important place to record the email. I may try another case with SF support, but I don't have high hopes for this functionality.
It used to work well, but the past 2 months it has been disconnecting and creating an error, so I can't use it. I have reported it twice and spent a lot of time on the phone trying to sort it out. I was given a workaround, but this is also throwing up an error. The eta I have been given to resolve the issue it December. Very frustrating!
I regularly have to refresh the page or reconnect my Salesforce account to use it. It works less than half the time.
When it actually works, it's great, but has been unreliable for weeks. Please fix it!

it works sometimes, NOT good
Could be awesome and really useful for linking emails to contacts amongst other things, but after the latest update it continually causes gmail to freeze for a number of our company users leading to many uninstalling it. Please fix!
There are lots of errors in this extension. Please update and fix soon.
Was working ok previously but past weeks it constantly caches in gmail making it more or less useless. Not good that such a big problem reported by so many of a crucial function not getting fixed.
It was already bad before the update, but afterwards, it's almost destroyed. From time to time it works, but most of the time it shows wrong url error 404. So sad. 1 Star is to much PLEASE ROLLBACK, we need an extension which works!!!
Doesn't work with the new update. Constant errors and will not log an email anymore.
It seems as if this extension is broken. It was working but recently it began throwing errors when associating an email with a record. Either it just can't associate it, or it claims there is a picklist value problem on a restricted picklist. There have been no changes to the picklists. It's not hitting any validation rules or something that would trigger such an error it just seems to take issue with my custom picklists.
Very frustrating as our users relied on this to log Gmail activity and as of last week they started running into various errors that completely interrupted their workflows. Hopefully these issues are resolved or details on workarounds are made known.
Some people in our company get an "Invalid URL" error message when they try to install this extension. Some get have no issues whatsoever. Clearing out cache doesn't help. Seems to have become an issue with the most recent update. Frustrating because we rely on this.
Currently broken and just pops up nonstop errors. Please fix.
It's amazing how bad this plugin is. The best you can hope for is that email logging works 60% of the time, with the other 40% being error messages and attempts to log to the wrong contacts. Days like today it pretty much doesn't work at all. SF should hire a usability team at some point. (Or if they have one, they should go get a NEW one).

I receive an error message every time I send an email or attempt to open the extension. I've tried removing and re-installing to no avail.
Constantly crashing, showing errors and doesn't provide clear solutions.
After 2 days, the problem of not being able to log emails is still continuing. Any updates on the horizon? UPDATE: We are back in working order as of this morning.

I love the functionality, but it hasn’t been working properly since the last updates. I’m no longer able to log my emails reliably.
Frequently has outages and no clear place for reporting these.
Was great, and then the new update came in and really doesn't work well for email sync (it's good for calendar sync) and now my email won't even connect at all. I just get error after error everytime. Example: "Failed to get item details from provider : caught An internal server error has occurred Error ID: 730438094-339782 (-1034929770)" It makes this unusable for email sync :( EVERY SINGLE DAY I now need to Remove from Chrome, Add the Extension back on and then reauthenticate. And then I can click through those repeated error messages and refresh to log the email. Such a shame that this went from a solid, useful extension to something that causes more headaches than it's worth :(
Used to be great, most recent update broke it and is completely worthless now.
This extension has not been working at all, and it has really messed up my workflow. I can no longer associate emails with Salesforce records. This has really presented problems for my business. I hope Salesforce gets this figured out very soon.
The extension hasn't been working since Monday (6/10/25). When the extension is opened it shows this error message: "This page has an error. You might just need to refresh it. First, would you give us some details? (We're reporting this as error ID: -1034929770)". Over the weekend our org was updated to Winter 26, has this caused an issue? Our sales staff haven't been able to register any emails (Gmail) on our org.

Same. I thought I was going crazy and wasted many hours troubleshooting before I found this page. This feature is totally business-critical - my company is virtual and my team is scattered throughout the world. Salesforce please listen and resolve this as soon as possible; otherwise I will be seeking compensation.
Old version worked great, especially as I use Gmail and Google Calendar as an "App" on my Mac (URL -> Chrome Options -> Cast, Save and Share -> Install Page as App) to easily switch back and forth between my other applications, email and calendar. The new version, however, simply doesn't open or work in the "App" experience, meaning my productivity and way of working has plummeted. Please look into how you get the extension to work in the "App" experience!
Gmail extension was fine, but I was forced to update to this one that has errors 90% of the time.
We are unable to logs emails in salesforce with the new version. Business and processes are getting hampered due to this issue please fix it asap.
The old version worked really well for many years but now the new version is full of bugs and the whole team is being affected and the data from logging is not reliable anymore. Please fix this as soon as possible. In addition, Calendar events is not supported in this new version.
The extension is no longer working, which is not helpful to our staff who use it quite often for case management and donor management.
This is the worst google extension I have ever used. The old version worked like a charm, and this latest update is truly terrible. I have to refresh my email and close and open the pinned extension bar 5 times each to get one email to upload and correctly log. Unreal that this hasn't been fixed as these bugs have been happening to me and my colleagues for 2 months consistently.
No longer working, "URL No Longer Exists" pop-up window. Does anyone know of any alternatives?
Breaks loading some sites. Took 5 hours of my life to figure out it broke chrome loading a letsencrypt site I had set up.
