Pulse SMS Extension

I am looking for an SMS app that will let me sometimes do group texts, sometimes send individual texts to a group. It seems PulseSMS used to allow this. Now, it seems to be missing, and as Dennis Jaffe reported on Mar 9, 2024, there seem to be serious issues with the current log in process. Even after paying $39 for an annual subscription on my phone, I still cannot install the Windows app because when I try to do so, I'm given a message that I must firs sign up for an account for the "Text from any device" option in the navigation drawer of the phone app. "Your subscription has expired. Please resubscribe on your primary device to continue sending an receiving messages across all your devices."

Maple Media delivers customer disservice. They are rude, unresponsive, and incompetent, and possibly dishonest. I *love* the app, originally developed by Luke Klinker. Years ago, it was, and it still remains, a brilliant app. But I somehow was logged out of the app, without my doing so myself. I can't log back in. I've tried everything a few dozen times, at Maple Media's direction. Nothing works. Many attempts to download the desktop app to my windows computer have failed. It can no longer be added to my Chrome browser. And I still cannot log back into the Android app. I have a legacy lifetime app that I purchased several years ago. Maple Media has advised me to follow links to download the app from the Google Play Store with some special code they've given me -- twice. It failed both times. The phone app says, "Subscription found -- Welcome back." But login fails. I've tried changing my password, but it won't let me. I cannot delete the account because that can only be done if one is logged in. This has been going on for six weeks. I love the app. There's nothing else like it. Maple Media is lousy. Interesting that the app hasn't been reviewed at all in more than 2 years. Maple Media seems to have abandoned this terrific app.

Did not work and provider refused to provide a refund even though it was fully in accordance with the posted refund policy.

Why in the world does this need to read all of my browser history??? love the app except for that. might have to uninstal just for that reason alone

cannot log in, when I type, nothing show in the line.

love the app on my phone. purchased the lifetime. i just downloaded this extension for my pixelbook and my text conversation wont update...am i doing something wrong? i deleted the extension and app twice and the same thing keeps happening...wont update. i emailed the creator and basically told me hes to busy to help and just sent a generic email response and a link (that i already visited and read) which wasnt any help...

sorry, overly expensive. I can get similar for free.

Well, it almost works. Sometimes messages don't sync. And I always have to hit 'tab' before I can type in the extension window.

I just downloaded the extension and it won't let me type in my info to sign in.

Doesn't import my contacts or conversations so I dont see a use for it.

Extension does exactly what it's supposed to do, but is very laggy to open (on a relatively new Macbook Pro), and the GUI is a little awkward So far, though, extremely reliable and fast

I am a little disappointed that the notifications don't appear. I bought this to not have to pull my phone out at work and respond quicker to texts. I like the simplicity and how similar it behaves to the phone app, but I see little value in doing that online without proper notification

Just like the Pulse App, it does not provide desktop alerts for incoming messages. It's supposed to, but it doesn't work for me.

On Chrome 58, you can't type in it at all (login, messages, etc) unless you pop it out.

Great app and great looking extension. For some reason, though, the extension doesn't let me type unless I press tab first. Is there a fix for this?

Good start. Gives it a iMessage like functionality. Been waiting for something like this to come on android. but its not fully there yet; 1. Notifications sometimes don't come thru. So that means I wont be able to rely on it completely. 2. Clicking on the notification opens a different pop up window. 3. Clicking on the notification opens the app (or the new window) but doesn't load the message (gets stuck loading) 4. Need to show unread message count / badge. 5. Need notification sounds 6. No need to show a notification when app is running in foreground. 7. Give the option to turn off the notifications.

When I receive a text and with to look at it. it stalls. A lot of the app on phone works well, but the extension needs a bit of work as of 11/17/16. MightyText and Push Bullet seem to be a bit better at the extension portion of the app.

Works pretty good but neither gives me a visual or an audio indication a message came in. I much prefer Pushbullet but it's too expensive. Wish this was as fast and flexible.
