OCR Scanner Extension

The best OCR extension, BUT it collect our emails! Look at the Permission: "Know your email address"

keep show up the texts "# Cannot get configuration. Please turn on sync in your Chrome and reinstall the extension" cannot use it.

Not working. Every time I try to select a text I get this error: # Cannot get configuration. Please turn on sync in your Chrome and reinstall the extension

They ruined it, it is no longer free (I think it was at the beginning) now you have to pay after using it I don't know how many times per month. I used this to translate manga I follow from English to Spanish.

Works for some places, but not for videos.

I used to love this extension. But since it started asking for money and chrome sync (which isn't possible on browsers like Brave) it feels just bad. I am not saying that asking money for your service is bad thing but there are a lot of OCR softwares out there any on an average 2000 people use this extension, hardly any money can be collected from this. It was just awesome 6 months ago. No slow recognition, no asking for money, no login require.

I have been trying to use it to read manga online, and while that might not be the intended function, I think it would still help if it was able to read vertical text, because often Japanese and Chinese is written vertically... Instead of reading the text as it is meant to be read, the app reads the first character of each line horizontally, followed by the next character of each line and so on... This makes an incomprehensible mess that is impossible to read... - Using the above paragraph as an example: "Ihm noe srs tis ez aot..." (if read vertically)

It worked perfectly fine, full images took a while but short sentences were quick. BUT it hasnt worked a few weeks now, just loading!

it was good but after update it's on scanning screen for so long it doesn't work at all wow great now it show language not supported

While the OCR is the best I've come across and also, one of the fastest, it's bugging my mind that it doesn't allow me to copy the scanned text. It's of no use to me if I can't copy the text. I have to instead type the text which I can do even without this OCR. Please developer look into this problem. I don't want to remove it because it's the best in its business but currently, it's useless to me. I hope you'll make the amendments. Thank you for your valuable efforts into this.
