Description

DriftGuard monitors your AI chat sessions and alerts you when conversation context is degrading — before you notice the quality drop. Long AI conversations gradually lose coherence. The AI starts repeating itself, contradicting earlier answers, or forgetting key details. DriftGuard quantifies this "context drift" with a 0–100 score so you know exactly when to start fresh. SUPPORTED PLATFORMS ChatGPT (chatgpt.com) Claude (claude.ai) Gemini (gemini.google.com) 7 DRIFT FACTORS Context Saturation — how deep into the context window you are Topic Scatter — how many unrelated topics are in one conversation Uncertainty Signals — when the AI hedges, self-corrects, or contradicts itself Code Consistency — language or framework switches mid-conversation Repetition — the AI recycling the same explanations (context window saturation) Goal Distance — how far the conversation has drifted from your original question Confidence Drift — whether the AI's certainty is declining over time FEATURES Real-time drift score badge on the extension icon Visual breakdown of which factors are driving drift Customizable factor weights (tune what matters to you) Rehydration prompts for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Claude Code Multi-chat tracking across tabs Works in English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish, and Portuguese PRIVACY All analysis runs locally in your browser. No data is sent to any server. No API keys required. No account needed. Open source: github.com/jschoemaker/Drift-guard
