YouTube List View Mode

Broken now. When enabled, no videos load on Home page, sub page etc.

As of today 2026, this extension seems to not work, as youtube subscription feed stays in grid mode.

List View doesn't seem to work for me and i hate the Grid view so much as it looks messy and it seems so confusing

All this seems to do is add "?flow=2" to the subscriptions url, which youtube has disabled, so this extension doesn't work. Youtube definitely wants everyone to have grid view, regardless of their preferred choice.

This has broken my youtube page, it's acting weird, search not working, youtube video titles not showing when you click on a channel.

Works fine for subscriptions only. Would be great to have listview in channels' videos as well. 2024 jul update: now it does not work

Recently added to your subscription (most relevant) list at the top. It's unnecessary and ruins the list.

The icons are too big. It fits only 3 videos per page vs 6. Is there a way to make them smaller?

It's an improvement, but the thumbnails are far too big, and seem to be the same size as in grid layout, which means I only get to see two listings at once. I can see six in grid view. Please make the thumbnails at least three times smaller, or have an option to specify the size reduction. Basically, make list view operate as it used to.

id really like it if the red bar was present, without that i cant use this extension.

This extension has the basics right, giving us back the list layout in working format, but it needs further improvements to truly shine. Other reviewers ahve already listed multiple such imprevements, like smaller thumbnails and missing video description, but I'd like to also add that the video thumbnails no longer show how much they've been watched (the red bar at the bottom of the thumbnail) or the length of the video, and moving your cursor over the video no longer starts playing the preview of the video in question.
