Download Station (client for Synology NAS)

Tried to add torrent file in manual task, it says: error Tried to download torrent file with redirect url, it downloaded login.php file instead of resolving it in torrent file. For some reason it asks my login/pass from tracker - it's not secure There were old extension for synology download station manager, which have less functions, but worked normally. Unfortunately, author discontinued it and google blocked that extension.

No 2FA, cannot login... 2FA cannot login... QuickConnect without 2FA, cannot login... What good is this for if it only works local? (not sure if it works local either)

I would really like this app but when I click to add a URL for download, the save button doesn't appear? No idea why. Apart from that it seems to work okay. But that seriously limits its functionality

sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. Errors that the logged in user doesn't have permissions, then wont login at all...then two weeks later works perfectly. Had a previous version that was flawless, but this updated one just isn't worth bothering with

It worked at first but now it doesn't work anymore, It always gives the error: Failed to load folder. Invalid session. Even though I logged in correctly.

Is it possible to use it with 2-step verification? I can't configure it even localy

It is good until time when it can not connect. Shows that login was succesfull, but when You try to add magnet link (logged as admin) You get error "Tasks refresh failed The logged in session does not have permission". When You try to add custom download task nothing happens and it can not even open any synology folder

quite good, but there doesnt seem to be an option to use magnets normally (locally) after installing the extension, only option to send magnet to nas appears which is pretty annoying to have to disable extension for that every time also there are some problems with logging in, it doesnt seem to auto login and sometimes I need to log out and log in again for extension to register that im logged in

Looks really good but try as I might, I can't get it to work due to (I think) login issues. My default admin user uses 2FA, which I couldn't manage to login with. I create a custom download_station user, without 2FA, I could only login using http, not https. The "test login" and "login" buttons are quite fickle, when shown in the popup they fail/show no feedback, very to understand what's going on. Opening the extension settings in a full tab works better, the "login attempt" notification appear in the bottom-right corner. ... but even after I logged in, adding download tasks fails miserably (got another slew of login issues, then... permission issues?). Also a sign that something's wrong, the "folder browser" thingy for picking the download destination has never worked for me, neither in the settings view nor the download popup. Overall, slick interface and tons of options, but also tons of frustration...

I’d appreciate an option to customize the colors of the download bars to better fit a minimalistic design. The current interface feels a bit cluttered, especially with the large purple icons. It would also be helpful to have the ability to resize the frame, as it currently takes up more space than necessary.

Used this extention with DSM 6, 4 years ago and it worked flawless and now i upgraded to 7.2 but instead of downloading torrent file it just download the php file of the website. Do you know how to fix this?

A very big problem with the cost of standing from a different account than the administrator, which is not the best idea. Logs out of DSM if you want to log in to a different account, reports a problem with access to save locations. There are also logouts. The idea, execution and possibilities for 5 stars, but the above prevent the comfortable use of the add-on. Please kindly fix it.

It's a convenient tools for administrators, but totally useless for non-administrator accounts.
