Another useless, non-working extension. Why does NOTHING work to stop autoplay? This is ridiculous, I can't wait to ditch Chrome and go back to a real browser that doesn't suck gigantic donkey balls

It blocks autoplay, but you can't get rid of the block if you want to start the video - clicking on the red block does nothing. Ridiculous.

What "Autoplay" is on YouTube is a feature that automatically plays a video after one ends. This extension, contrary to its title, does not do that.

Third Update: In less than 24 hours after reinstalling this extension, it fails to stop videos from automatically playing. I don't know why. I reload the pages after enabling this extension, but it will not perform as expected today. Yes, it did perfrom yesterday, but today I'm uninstalling it again for the aforementioned reasons. Second Update: I don't remember exactly when, but earlier this year I uninstalled this extension because it didn't work more often than it did work. Today, Wednesday, November 12, 2025 I reinstalled it because it currently works to stop YouTube videos, YouTube shorts, and Youtube videos on YouTube channels' Home tabs. Nice work, Lynn, thank you! I hope I have a better experience with your extension this time. Update: Today is Monday, February 10, 2025. This extension works great when it wants to work. So, I'm adjusting my rating because I find that I must disable it, then re-enable it to keep it working. Today is Thursday, February 6, 2025. This extension works great! Thank you, Lynn!

This does not work. A pity as an extension like this would be great. Better of course would be for Youtube to restore the option to turn off autoplay but they won't for reasons that they refuse to explain. Which suggests the basest motives.

Just installed the extension. I've tried everything including restarting the browser from scratch and the extension does not work at all. I'm using the latest Chrome browser and I'm attempting to play a single song. It just continues to play a new auto selected song. I DOESN'T WORK

Surprise surprise it does not actually do anything except ad a little icon on you browsers tool bar. It is kind of like a piece of jewelry for you browser.

update: nvm it stopped working today ___ Works as intended but it stops the vid at the BEGINNING of the video. What I need is when sharing my lessons with students to stop the video at the point where I share the lesson. Youtube "Share" you can copy paste a url that puts you at point on vid. If I try use this extension and youtube share exact spot on vid this extension will not let me go spot on vid.

The extension no longer works. The video is stopped, but then it is completely unable to resume. YouTube just displays an error message. This extension is broken on all my browsers on my Win10 machine and all my browsers on my Ubuntu machine.

IT STOPPED WORKING 3 DAYS AGO .. YOUTUBE NOW GIVES ME AN ERROR ON THE VIDEO!
