This doesn't work well.

I loved being able to organize my chats into different folders for projects. It worked great. Now, it's completely useless. The app still acts like it's saving the chat. It puts the title in the folder, just like it's supposed to. But when you click on the saved chat, it doesn't open it. It just starts a brand new, blank chat.

Maybe give a more generous free trial to build trust first.

Took me 4.5 hrs to vibe code this, bruh.

Worked great at first. It will still place the chat in the folder, but when you click on the saved chat in the folder, it takes you to a completely new chat in Gemini. I just recently needed to refer back to a chat I saved a couple of months ago, and it no longer opens. I checked several other folders and saved chats, but the result was the same. Super disappointing. Now I will go back to keeping my chats in a Google Doc like before. At least it was only $15!

I can tell a scam once i see one so no i wont pay those 15 dollars.

Sometimes nested folders do not work, please fix that in next update.

I like the idea but the design? extremely repulsive. Thing is if you put + on all my chats it just looks ugly.

The 'recent' tag broke on my browser when I downloaded the extension. Also the opposite sidebar looks bad.

The UI broke when I added the second nested folder, I am using an older variation of brave.

Leaves a lot to be desired. not a fan of the paywall getting hit too early and having a separate sidebar to manage folders.

UI is terrible. Chops off a large portion of chat titles. Color scheme makes text unreadable, as it's black text on dark grey background.

For me, I was able to put what I needed into a few folders. Things looked good for about 15 minutes, then the moved chats reappeared in the recent Gemini chat list. I know the chats are not actually moved, but only hidden in the recent list, but I don’t want to have them showing in both places. Maybe add some kind of toggle feature to manually hide the ones in the main list that have been put into folders. Also some kind of "clear data" in the extension might help since importing a clean JSON file with the settings how I wanted didn't change anything. I think these kind of apps that try to trick Google’s interface into looking different than it’s designed can be kind of tricky. Since Chrome is constantly updating, a user will probably have to battle various demons to keep the app functioning which increases the risk of losing chats.

It works well enough from what I can tell, but then I hit the free user limitation. I actually was wanting to purchase it but cannot figure out how. There is no link that I can see, and uninstalling and reinstalling the one that was linked to from the $15 pro option still is just the free one. You should add a link to purchase it when you pop up the limitation bubble.

Good enough, but the limitations on free users are too limiting for any productive use imo. Also, it would be much better and more reasonable to request any money for a paid version if this had companion app for Android with full Sync capabilities. Amazing idea, ok-ish implementation, but too limiting.

Massively disappointing free version with only four chats per folder. Platform seems like it's penny pinching. So, no thanks to upgrading.

I like the core functionality of this extension, but it's held back by a couple of problems. First, asking for $15 without a trial period is a major barrier; users need to be able to test the features before committing. Second, the settings don't save. They reset to default every time I open the site, which is a significant usability flaw. I would consider purchasing if these were fixed.

It's a good idea, but it looks like it's not finished. there are several issues like: - You can add several times the same chat in the same folder. - After add a chat inside a a folder that's still visible in recents. - You can't delete or move a chat from a folder - If you want to report a defect, it redirects to Gmail; instead, open a new tab.

I like it. But It's too limited. I need many MANY folders for the stuff I'm making for my 2nd grade students. Do you have a teacher discount on the $15? Also, for the $15 is that per month? per year? ??

Once you add to a folder, you can't put it back to recents? It is out of recents and I can only find the chat through searching, either I'm missing something or this is broken.

It is a useful App but one problem I found is you cannot scroll up and down in Gemini on the browser side bar to find the 5th 6th 7th etc folder, if you have more than four folders so it is very inconvenient. I paid the subscription and found this problem.

I really want a feature like this and wish that Gemini Pro just included it. As I consider purchasing the pro version of this extension, I have encountered the following issues that make me hesitant: 1. If I have foldered a conversation and subsequently rename the conversation, the rename only reflects in the conversation thread native to Gemini and not the conversation that this saved in the folder. This is really counter productive. The work around for now is to rename it before adding it to a folder but I can see myself forgetting. 2. If I have already foldered the conversation and then I rename it, I can add it to the folder again but then the conversation is duplicated in the folder and I need to go remove the one that is poorly named. 3. When I attempt to delete the duplicate from the folder, the UI is dark themed and I can't read the prompt when clicking the trash can and get a Yes/No dialogue. 4. When I do click yes, it doesn't appear anything has happened but if I refresh I do see the conversation has actually removed from the folder. Looking forward to seeing some improvements!

Definitely does what I need it to do, but could be improved. Doesn't seem to respond to changes of light/dark theme, pretty much the only way I can read it is through the dark theme. When the folders are open on the left side, the bar under them isn't adaptive, so it completely hides my unfoldered chats way down below...which kind of defeats the purpose of the drag and drop feature. 15 is slightly steep for what this is, 10 would be more reasonable, but honestly that's not bad. Overall, decent extension, thanks for making it.
