Sky Follower Bridge

Unfortunately I had the same experience: no matter what, it doesn't recognize my u/n or app pw.

Simply does not work. Won't acknowledge my password as correct.

Removed. Never could get it to connect to Twitter/X.

Worked great for first account X#1 -> B#1. Then I logged into a different Twitter/X account X#2, and into a different Bluesky account B#2, generated a new Application password for that Bsky account B#2, entered the correct handle and app password into Sky Follower Bridge and it copied hundred of accounts to the first Bluesky profile B#1! And not the second B#2 I had just entered the handle and password of. Great when it works, an absolute nightmare when it doesn't.

A very nice concept, but in practice its not great. PLUS a HUUUUGE security risk logging on your account on here!

I wish I could give a zero star rating. I added credentials to find bsky users like it told me and I received email of someone else trying to log into my bluesky account. This app is untrustworthy and was only made to steal your account. Avoid at all costs, reset your passwords like I did.

Didn't work at all. Entering the bluesky account didn't work, even if i included the @, or the additional parts. Even with the username by itself. Did the app password, NOTHING worked.

No longer works. 0 results. What also doesn't seem to work ...these mass exoduses to other social media platforms that also die quickly.

Did not work at all. Doesn't even find 1 user with a Bluesky handle, even though I can visibly see several on my screen while it is attempting to run.

Found none of my 150 follows, not even people I'd already followed on bsky who are definitely using the same handle and display name.

Oh sure, I would use this thing. The only problem is, Bluesky isn't playing up with its end of the provisioning of app passwords!

Why does it ask for my login and password when my followed accounts lists are public both on bluesky and twitter?

Asks for your Bluesky username + Password. Even if it works and there never is a problem, that's super sketchy and if your value your personal information you shouldn't give your credentials to third party extensions.

Didn't work. Kept stating that my password was incorrect, when it absolutely wasn't.

Might be a password stealing scam. Didn't work to pull any followers, just kept giving me an error message.

Did not work. Tried restarting Chrome, logged in with Followers tab up. Does nothing. However it did require giving it my BSky password, so I promptly went and changed that for fear this wasn't what it presents itself as. In hindsight the BSky "App Passwords" option under the Settings should be used for things like this.

As far as I can tell it doesn't work. I do not get an icon where my other Chrome extensions are.

I followed the instructions exactly and I'm getting "Error: Invalid identifier or password"

Doesn't work at all, always says there isn't a receiving end.

Does not work with alternative PDS, such as blacksky / myatproto, even when trying to rebuilt it per instructions on github. Does not recognise usernames with self-hosted domains (Eg not using [username].bsky.social). Dev doesn't seem interested in fixing these or making it accessible for non-technical users on alternative pds.

Would love it if you could leave it and come back without it losing all the followers it found and having to restart the process again. Each time I've run it you have to be watching it to make sure when it completes its search that you are there to get the follower list.

It was unclear to me everywhere I looked, but evidently this is only for Twitter/X and not Facebook.

At least half of the users identified were no relation to my followers.

Uhh... it found 8 accounts from a list of 1700+ so... not sure what went wrong but definitely not helpful.

During use, it pages all the way down to the bottom of the Twitter Following/Followers pages in Chrome, and skips checking any entries on pages above the current page that has focus. After you're done using it, there's no way to quit out of it (clicking elsewhere on the page 'hides' it, but it's still running)... so it continues hitting page down on every tab you switch to until you close and reopen Chrome. It IS 1000x faster than checking them all manually, but it misses so many because it doesn't check any entries above the page it has currently reached.
