DO NOT INSTALL tinamind. It's another - probably Indian made - intrusive tool that doesn't follow regulations and forces itself on your settings and browsers, crashing the system. Followed the bots from other extension reviews to this one. Garbage dump, wants you to buy GPT/Claude subscriptions through them and don't want you entering your own API key. Mind you, this is just a chatbot.

Useless, and they are spamming other developers' extensions, claiming theirs is the best, which it isn’t. Plus, their marketing is terrible..

Once you have created an account using your details for just trying the AI. It becomes difficult to suspend your account when you find that the AI is worthless.

It just sucks, the shortcut doesn't work on any website and the ai takes forever to respond.

Try over 20 Youtube videos and it didn't summarise any of the videos. What is did was show some type of continuous. type of hourglass motion which means it seems to be working on something but nothing shows up or it's simply the slowest AI for video summary.

Yet another crummy copycat that doesn't work at all. No response to anything I put in. Other extensions work for a limited time, but this one refuses to respond.

It keeps asking "Please confirm that you can access ChatGPT normally and ensure that you are logged into ChatGPT. Afterward, refresh this page to continue" every time I click "Read Page". No instruction on their webpage or settings to explain this.

wasted time installing, they got my email, and the one thing i got it for (summarizing) it doesn't do it. Just keeps asking me to drop a PDF on it. Super frustrated i hate wasting time

Worked fine in the beginning, now it gives me an error "Client create failed" for no reason. Please fix if can.

It doesn't work very well... I tried to summarise multiple web pages and it doesn't reply. Maybe there is a bug. The drag and drop to chat with documents also doesn't seem to work.

I would give a 5 star review but the extension doesn't work for what I need it for. I need it to summarize YouTube videos for me and i click summary and it thinks then does nothing. I am changing my rating to sub zero!! This extension is straight garbage!!!!!!! I need it to summarize my YouTube videos to create descriptions for me and it does NOTHING!!!! I gave this a chance at several intervals trying to replace Sider with it but it is even more unstable, more limited and it is more a problem than a solution; It is faster to open a tab of an LLM and with the help of some extension or userscript to have a prompt library to pick from then do things via copy paste (which is annoying and pollute the clipboard), But still a better and more cost-effective alternative to these extensions... I wish to see a truly free and open-source solution that is developed by the community and more versatile than these pseudo-free or freemium experiments that are not up to the expectation of power-users like me.

The subtitle translation feature on YouTube has stopped working. Please fix it.

The extension's summary and floating sidebar functions are excellent features, however, I am experiencing an issue with bilingual subtitles. My Mac system is set to English, and I am using the Tinamind extension to translate my native Polish. However, it only translates from Polish to English, not the other way around. This functionality would be greatly improved if it could translate both ways.

Appears to use GPT 3.5 for most purposes unless you subscribe to a paid plan. There are some good tweaks in this extension, and its attractive. It's misleading to advertise it as "truly free" however.
