Comment Stack - Save Live Chats for YouTube™

Wow.. $7 a MONTH to have an extension that downloads comments? AND i have to click through the live stream replay in order to have it capture the comments. Ridiculously overpriced for such a simple extension.

I paid and its not been working unless i refresh as it goes, tried to get help they did try a few times to share screen but kept missing me I gave a better email to reach me at and nada. im on disability and cant afford to lost money for nothing. shame.

Now costs $5/mo! I was excited to find such an app and at first glance it appears functional. BUT when I tried to save to .CSV, I found out that this is now just a crippled version of the program and only exports 50 comments per video unless you upgrade to a paid version. I agree they should be compensated for their programming time, and I am willing to pay $5 or $10, but $5/mo or $36/yr is not cheap! Also like fellow reviewer Linda mentioned, it really should have timestamps.

Very buggy, went from free to a $3/month payment plan, AND you must hand over all of your personally identifiable information. This is a scam

This app can save just 50 chats. too bad.

The extension is no longer reliable, it hasn't worked in Brave, of firefox for at least 6 months... such a shame

No instructions, no clue as to where anything was 'saved'. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.

Really liked the extention... BUT IT STOPPED WORKING :(

It doesn't work. I added the extension and followed the instructions, but when I started the stream there was nothing but the usual video and chat. Nowhere did an option appear to record anything. This extension is useless.

There are no instructions, there's no button that offers a save options, and literally everyone who has the same problem here in the reviews has no answer...

I tired to use the plug-in and it was not working. Is it offline ?

Installed it. Closed and reopened Chrome. The Save Chat button wasn't there. I restarted my laptop. The save button wasn't there. Any help as to how to get this work would be grateful. Otherwise this extension does not work.

Works well but doesn't give all that I need. Timestamps are a must.

Sometimes it doesn't save all chats and you have to reload the page to start saving the chat, and after they made a monthly subscription I don't think that I will still use it

Latest updates (last week) broke everything :-( Extension is requesting weird permissions now. Chats are capped up to 875 messages, not saving to anything (neither CSV nor excel)

Currently qutie bugged, won't categorize the comments like it used to. now all data is mixed up

Maybe I'm missing the obvious, but.. where does it save to? The description says "in your browser" but I'm not finding the saved chat anywhere.

It originally does what I want, but it failed when the chat goes to like 8000.

I have tried reloading after signing in and on a live stream or recorded live streams and see no options like instructions say there would be?

6th Feb 2024 update asks for Google connection permission for something called Comment Stack?

Something changed and now its seperate from the chat itself so it doesn't save or log any of the comments from the live chat.

What is the ID on the export next to each comment? I wish there was a way to schedule it

it does work, but i thought it would export all live chat comments? It just exported some on certain timeframe.

Can't see the button on Chat Replays. Does it support chat replays? With slow mode?

works good but there is no way to clear out the cache other then to uninstall it and reinstall

It doesn't work with finished livestreams, only those currently live :/

It works download csv file very well. but it crushed korean message.
