Glimpse – Google Trends Supercharged

Only 10 free looks per month and ZERO of these features they show you in tutorial, not even these 10. And the next tier up is $79 PER MONTH?! Are you crazy?

Tool is great but quite limited as approx 70% of data is given by Google Trends so investing in this tool doesn't make any sense and even free usage doesn't feel that great.

One of my pet peeves is when these apps require you to create an account just to see how much it costs, like this one. You only get 10 "lookups" PER MONTH for free. The next tier up is $79 PER MONTH. Keep it. I'll use Google Gemini.

It walks you through the tutorial and then deducts two of your search credits immediately, for searches that THEY RAN while going through THEIR TUTORIAl. You only get 10 free lookups on a basic account, and I was literally comparing paid plan prices to upgrade before I went through their tutorial, but after that, no thanks. They'll probably deduct more searches than you actually conduct and then try to charge you for more or something.

Google is getting out of hand with these paid for fake reviews! What a scam! Once you activate Glimpse, it gives you 10 free search but then takes you through a tutorial to show you how to use the tool. Once the tutorial is over, it deducts at least 2 free searches just for learning how to use the tool. But, I guess it doesn't matter, there is ABSOLUTELY nothing different between this tool and Trends. I have been using Trends for years, and I thought this would be a good tool - IT PROVIDES ABSOLUTELY NOTHING USEFUL - IT IS SIMPLY TRENDS THAT YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR!

Promised credits in exchange of review never received.

They claim on their website that their extension shows "actual numbers" and "precise search volume data", but what I'm getting are vague <1k for every single points on my Trends history. Wether its the max spike or 0, it all shows as <1k. Not useful at all. If anything, it's even less useful than the standard "% of max" shown by Trends.

They want to pass it off as a tool owned by Google. This is what the TikToker mentioned in the video: "Glimpse is released by Google for free." That's NOT TRUE. I didn't see any advantage over Google Trends, which is free. Those one liner 5 star reviews looks sus.

Doesn't provide results for any window of time shorter than 3 months, and when it breaks the overall results down by smaller time periods, those smaller time periods don't make any sense. Might be useful for much more general applications, but it's useless for mine. Also, a lot of these reviews don't look real at all. Very sus.

Definitely overrated

The free version is totally useless for me - just wastes my time browsing and then when I try to drill down - up comes the pay wall

I would like to rate this 5 stars BUT! REMOVE THIS ANNOYING POP UP WEHN A KEYWORD WITH NO DATA IS BEING SEARCHED - "For the best results, try a more generic single-word term like coffee, bitcoin, pickleball, tiktok, etc." DONT DECIDE WHAT ARE GOOD RESULTS FOR ME! AND DONT USE POP UPS OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!!!

You think the extension is great until you start using it and face all the limitations included in the $50 plan. And the $250 is ridiculously high priced, and to be honest there are 0 insentives to upgrade. At this price better use the Keywords Everywhere app, you get almost the same informations on google trend for a fraction of the cost and can use Keyword Planner for related keywords and keywords recommendations. Not worth the price.

This does provide a few insights. I gave it 2 stars for 5 reasons: 1 - The "tour" burns up 3 of your trial credits. 2 - Using the "discover" tab for the same exact keyword burns more credits. 3 - Pricing is virtually HIDDEN on their site. 4 - The info provided is widely available through free tools. 5 - They're not doing anything special with this, just "dressing up" the trends results page and adding a "topic map".

I feel credit are too low , i lose all credit just by exploring the tool on my first try itself

Why I have already subscribed, but I can't use the data form after downloading it multiple times. Why? ? ?
