Custom Progress Bar for YouTube™

cute and does what it says but randomly redirects to other tabs unprompted and I couldn't make it stop

I cant even know if this extension works, because when I go on the website to set it up, I get bombed with random redirects! One moment I think Im about to choose a cute pink progress bar, next moment Im being flashed with some NSFW anime game!

Works great, but it's super annoying how it'll open a new tab to ask me to write a review. Well, here it is. Are you satisfied?

It keeps acting as if I don't have it installed when I very clearly do, and when I try to do anything such as use one of the unlisted bars in the collections, or when I make my own, it constantly gives me a pop-up asking me to download the extension. I already have it.

DO NOT INSTALL THIS, it will force open tabs to get you to rate this extension constantly and there is no way to stop it.

This extension sucks. It didn't work at all I kept getting bombarded with ads VERY sketchy websites like PH and other sites similar to it, gambling, etc. And this extension gave many alerts from my antivirus software.

this extension leads to sketchy website now if you try to choose a new progress bar, i don't recall it ever doing this. the website downloaded a few .exe files onto my computer. now i have to run my antivirus. please fix this.

AGAIN you start with your BEGGARDLY BEGGING for ratings as soon as I am in the middle of a project. So due to your BEGGING for ratings, you have now gone from 5 stars to 1 star. Enjoy your 1 star rating jerks. We ALL know what tribe runs Google, Disney, and ALL media. So why would this be different. Previous review: I have Mario kicking along while waiting to download YouTube vids with a downloader. I refuse to disable any and all of my ad blockers to watch a vid. My ad blockers are preventing malware, trackers, cookies, spyware, and data from being injected by YouTube, and it is nothing to do with "content creators being paid".

love all of the decore, hate the pop ups. i dont like watchin youtube or doin a task just for this site to pop up and snatch me from whatever im doin just to show me more things i really dont want. tried to find a way to turn it off and i cant. its annoying.

Update: They still kept bothering me with stupid pop ups and asking me to review them so had to uninstall. It works great, but every time I open google their site automatically pops up.

I wish I could keep this thing. It does what it says and I love it, but I'm sick and tired of 3 things: - keeps asking me to rate - every week I come back to a tab that opened by itself and took me to the extension's website - more than once it opens a tab that takes me to ANOTHER extension made by the same dev, that I DON'T EVEN HAVE INSTALLED. Extremely intrusive, can't accept rejection, uninstalling before this turns into outright spyware.

EDIT: THIS EXTENSION IS A SCAM. Had installed for 6 months now - it's just started opening a fake McAfee antivirus that takes up your whole screen and harvests cookies. The site was opened at 3am when my pc was completely unattended. It opens their progressbar spam website then redirects you to phishing scams. Remove this shit google. I got constant popups every day having this crap installed. <0 stars. original: pretty good and easy enough to use, but really annoying when it just opens up its home tab whenever it feels like it. you're an extension, stop making me go to your website

Used to be perfect. Was soooo nice, then came in the update. I had customised so many memes into progress bars and the update made them all go away. For god's sake have a sign in option, i need all of them back. The amount of efforts i put into them is unimaginable. I WANT THEM ALL BACKKKKKK! Even the old features aren't available anymore. The pro and all. I HATE THIS UPDATE.

Great extension, though the devs are so down bad and desperate for a lick of attention that they're willing to borderline use a phishing attempt to get any recognition. It's disgusting. Funnily enough, depending on how STUPID these devs are, they'd be aware that they're actually breaking Google's own TOS on extensions and run themselves a risk of getting remove off the extension store. I plan to continue to use the extension, though I also have the full intention of reporting the extension as well until they quit forcing their webpage in my face.

I downloaded the extension to get the solid red progress bar back, as I find Youtube's fade to magenta distracting; however, every other day or so, upon opening Youtube, this extension will automatically open its website in a new tab. I find this feature to be more distracting than Youtube's color choice for their progress bar and so am removing the extension. Furthermore, when I tried disabling notifications to see if that would stop the extension from being able to open new tabs on its own, I found that the "notifications" option in the settings page would immediately set itself back to "allow" before I even left the page. I will happily change my review to five stars if it turns out there is a way to stop this extension from opening tabs on its own.

lame. doesn't work on my yt

Was cute until it started taking me to the extension site every time I want to use youtube. And it wouldn't even let me download a different custom bar until I left a review.

It does what it says on the tin, but it also unpredictably opens a new tab to a random website to try to get me to install other plugins while I'm in the middle of doing things. At first, I thought I had some kind of browser hijack exploit malware, and on reflection, I basically did since I didn't want or agree to these popups.

You are your own biggest enemy. You don't have to lessen the quality of your own extension. You choose to. The constant pop-up is ruining my experience with this extension. Usually I am in bed, and have to get up to exit your obnoxious website pop-up. I, for the most part, am not even using the extension when said pop-up ruins my relaxation. For this reason, I have to rate you with a one star, and remove said extension. Side note: Why are all the one-star reviews heavily downvoted? For the most part, they share the same frustration as myself. I don't trust googles review system. It always differs from credible platforms.

There are some glaring issues I can't ignore. The biggest issue is definitely the constructor, I used to have a transparent gif as my scrubber, but I had to reinstall my browser and when I tried to make it again the website had updated and trying to use that same gif resulted in it saying its too big. The file is 2.8mb while the limit is 5mb... I did find a fix when I tried it by going to the old version of the website, but this seems to no longer be an option, as I couldn't find it again today when I had to remake my scrubber because you can't individually delete custom ones properly, so I had to delete the whole collection to get rid of my dud ones from before. Also, it keeps opening the main page in a new tab when I'm not even doing anything

Opens new tabs while my PC is in sleep mode waking it (and me) up, I don't want your terrible new options that aren't eevee's, If I was looking for a new progress bar I would have gone to your site myself.

Awesome extension overal, but keeps opening tabs advertising itself, very frustrating and inappropriate. I can't keep it around with that behaviour sadly.
