HOW TO USE 1. Install the extension. 2. Open the page where you want text typed and click the extension icon. 3. Select the target text field on the site. 4. In the EchoType app, send your text (and optional speed settings). 5. Watch it type. PRIVACY & SECURITY • No account data is collected by the extension. • All retyping happens locally on your device. • The content script listens only for messages from approved EchoType origins and does not transmit page contents. NOTES • Requires the EchoType web app to send text to the extension. • Some pages with strict input handling may limit paste; EchoType falls back to simulated keystrokes.
